This works in the overall footer, the banners show up there. But not in viewtopic. :( Nothing shows up there.

Any ideas

The pubblicity is always the same... i mean that if in the post i'm talking about "Cars"(for example) the publicity will be always about server and hosting...
I think that this happen because Adsense script doesn't read the messages cause them are stored in the database while adsense script read the text into the page(it seems to me)
What do you think about it?
Best regards
I have fond the opposite to be true, my board is about fishing, but I have a general forum in which I made a post about asbestos, and my ad content is around asbestos removal... check it out http://www.ifishct.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=98

So?
That’s what adsense does... it reads the page and finds the most relevant ads.
It seems google don't read to my board!!!

What version are you running? Do you have any other mods installed? I would think that mods such as the SEO friendly mods might make a difference. The only mods I have are the who was here mod and the advertisment mod. I am running RC1.

MODs make no difference to the content of the board, and they make no difference to the content of the ads.

Double check everything then... it’s not rocket-science. ;) -- it’s pretty straight forward. :)
fiorefrank wrote:It seems google don't read to my board!!!
What does that have to do with this MOD? :?
fiorefrank wrote:However I’m going to reinstall everything and try it ...
Reinstalling the MOD wont help you.
Though you should check your channel and publication IDs to make sure they are correct to your google adsense account. You also need to give the adsense bot a lot of time to crawl all of your content. The Ads will be rather generic to your sitename until it has a chance to crawl and catalog everything.
Perhaps a little patience is in order. :P

MODs make no difference to the content of the board, and they make no difference to the content of the ads.
The only real mod I was thinking would change content of ads would be the SEO friendly mod, since it may change meta tags and page titles, both of which google adsense uses for content selection, but I also agree with H.O.L., maybe a little patience is all you need...

I did double and triple check everything. It works in footer but not viewtopic.

Even meta tags and SEO friendly titles won’t affect the Google Adsense ads. ;)

fiorefrank, I just realized your question/statement earlier.
Bots and scripts view forum posts and pages the same way you do.
To you, and to bots, it looks like a normal page, normal text... it has 'real' content.
Whether it is database driven or a static page, a bot and a human scan it or look at it the same way. :)
