Wow! I hadn't even noticed they pumped out an RC3 already... I will update my demo board and see how things go with this mod, but I dont think there should be any problems with it
I'm also working on a new update.. this one is fixing, and correctly handling users permissions to view users who are marked as hidden, as the previous method was sort of fudged and only allowed board founders to view. The new method will allow moderators & administrators via the $auth->acl_gets('a_', 'm_') return value.
As well as fixing an error in period calculation when using board_timezone, even though the purge time/date was being correctly calculated. Sorry, small oversight on my part there.
The database structure, and config table additions will remain the same from current version to next release, and the only changes so far have been in the functions_visitors.php file, making an udpate from 1.0.3 RC2 to 1.0.4 RC2 VERY simple. I will also do my best to attempt to get update instructions from previous version to current included in the package, but I dont always have the time I'd like to sit down and sort through the differences and write the instructions being the stay @ home father of 3 young children who are currently not in school (thank you summer vacation, lmao). So, on that note, if someone has the spare time, and nothing better to do, feel free to do this for me, you WILL get credit. Also, if anybody has language files for this mod other then english send them to me and I will include them in the next updated package.
I really think this mod is comming together quite nicely and should most definatley be ready for release when phpBB3.0 is final. I just wanted to thank all of you who have helped during it's development for your bug reports, suggestions, and encouragement. Without you this wouldn't be all that spectacular of a mod, nor would it be this far along on a completion scale. At this point I can definatley say that I am proud of it and cant wait to get on to a few of the other ideas that I have cooking. (this does not mean this is the end of it's development cycle though).
