Re: [BETA] phpBB Rivals (Clans, Ladders & Tournaments)

Post by JeRicHoOL » Mon Dec 08, 2008 1:20 am

Can anyone of you provide some screenshots of how this looks and maybe of the features aswell?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I have just added this mod. Can anyone explain me the features and options please (in ACP and in Clan CP,...)? What's a platform for example. Looking forward to some explanations because I'm a bit clueless how to use some of the features. Maybe someone who uses this mod for quite a time can tell me how he uses it. I need to know everything about it in order to use it the right way.

I appreciate every information. ;)

When I go to Clan CP it says:

Code: Select all

General Error
Module not accessible
Edit: Ah, I didn't enable the modules.

Ok now when someone tries to accept my invite to my Clan, it redirects them to the homepage of my site and doesn't put them in the Clan. Any help?

Ah, I think I've found the problem.

When you send an invite there's a Yes and No button that take you to yoursite.com/phpBB3/blahblahblah. Well my site's forum is on a sub-domain so it would be forum.yoursite.com/blahblahblah.

So, is there a way to change it to forum.yoursite.com/blahblahbah?

Edit: I'm pretty sure I have to edit rivals/fuctions around here...

Code: Select all

/**
 * Sends a PM to a user.
 *
 * @param integer $to
 * @param integer $from
 * @param string $subject
 * @param string $message
 * @return array
 */
function insert_pm ( $to, $from, $subject, $message )
{
	global	$$phpbb_root_path, $phpEx;
	$uid	= $bitfield = $options = 1;

	generate_text_for_storage ( $message, $uid, $bitfield, $options, true, true, true );

	$data	= array (
		'address_list' => array ( 'u' => array ( $to => 'to' ) ),
		'from_user_id' => $from[ 'user_id' ],
		'from_username' => $from[ 'username' ],
		'icon_id' => 0,
		'from_user_ip' => $from[ 'user_ip' ],
		'enable_bbcode' => true,
		'enable_smilies' => true,
		'enable_urls' => true,
		'enable_sig' => true,
		'message' => $message,
		'bbcode_bitfield' => $bitfield,
		'bbcode_uid' => $uid
	);

	submit_pm ( 'post', $subject, $data, false );
}

I'm having a recurring error just after installation;

SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Table 'clanladder.LADDERS_TABLE' doesn't exist [1146]

I've tried reinstalling fully and even tried manually creating the aformentioned missing table.

Can someone help with this error?

Thank you in advance

Help me!

I run a very busy forum and now nothing is being displayed due to this problem. Please help me fix it ASAP! Cheers

I have installed a new MOD. Ive done everything its wanted me to do and then ive uploaded my forum again to the server whilst doing this I have done overwrite to everything.

Now for some reason my forum is saying page cannot be displayed. The MOD wants me to
Be sure to run install_rivals/install.php in your browser to complete the rest of the installation.
So I do and then the page changes to this. wwwroot/myforumname/install_rivals/install/index.php

Instead of wwwroot/myforumname/install_rivals/install.php

How can I fix this flaw?

EDIT: BTW, I have got a backup of my forums.

Right okay, here is a proper question!

So everything has went well. I upload it perfectly, clear cache and then I get this when I click yes to the upgrade part.

Code: Select all

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Table 'phpbb_rivals_challenges' already exists [1050]

SQL

CREATE TABLE phpbb_rivals_challenges ( challenge_id mediumint(8) UNSIGNED NOT NULL auto_increment, challenge_ladder mediumint(8) UNSIGNED DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL, challenger mediumint(8) UNSIGNED DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL, chalengee mediumint(8) UNSIGNED DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL, chalenge_posttime int(11) DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL, challenge_details blob NOT NULL, PRIMARY KEY (challenge_id) )

FILE: install_rivals/functions_install.php

Something like this came up for M0PIES earlier. Could someone reply with a solution to this please?

Thanks! :mrgreen:
