I'm using Prosilver.

I'm gonna go back over the install and take a 3rd look

Keep me informed if you don't solve the problem.

This might sound like a stupid question...

I have managed to install AM, and it seems to work fine.
However, I do seem to be unable to find how to actually confirm any of the options set for the registration.

I'd be grateful if anyone could point me out in the right direction.

Thanks

Registrations are confirmable by clicking the registration button again. The date and time of confirmation is visible. That's all.

I would like to know in the latest version of this mod what changes were made other than making it 3.0.6 compatible with the finds in the install.xml file.

Better compare it the with the current version. It is the first beta version, it's number is 0.2.6 8-) .
Changes are a better handling of the mouseover in viewforum view, support for subSilver2, AutoMod support and some minor layout changes. I did the changes on my original codes. If you want to compare it to older versions, you can use this:

http://www.danielgeue.de/phpbb/am_alpha_0.2.5.zip
http://www.danielgeue.de/phpbb/am_alpha_0.2.4.zip
http://www.danielgeue.de/phpbb/am_alpha_0.2.3.zip
http://www.danielgeue.de/phpbb/am_alpha_0.2.2.zip
http://www.danielgeue.de/phpbb/am_alpha_0.2.1.zip
http://www.danielgeue.de/phpbb/am_alpha_0.2.0.zip

From now on no new features will be implemented until this mod is validated and released.

Awesome MOD. I only have one feature request:

We would like to have an option to delete users from the list :)

NetizenKane, I have experienced an issue where when you confirm your attendance it confirms it for all users that have said that they are coming instead of only for yourself.

Do you know of a solution for this?

Please advise.

@wired: I'll check that. Thanks for reporting.
@Johan-NL: Moderators and/or Administrators should be able to delete users? Is that correct?

Besides a new beta version is available. Changes are minor bug fixes in preview and extensions of UCP and MCP. Registration summaries are now also viewable in the user and moderator control panel.

The confirmation bug (see above) should be fixed with the current beta version. Fix for the bug is done in viewtopic.php.

Find:

Code: Select all

			$sql = 'UPDATE ' . AM_REGISTRATIONS_TABLE . '
				SET am_registration_confirmed = ' . time() . '
				WHERE am_option_id = ' . (int) $am_regoption_id . '
					AND topic_id	= ' . (int) $topic_id;
			$db->sql_query($sql);
Replace with:

Code: Select all

			$sql = 'UPDATE ' . AM_REGISTRATIONS_TABLE . '
				SET am_registration_confirmed = ' . time() . '
				WHERE am_option_id = ' . (int) $am_regoption_id . '
					AND topic_id	= ' . (int) $topic_id . '
					AND am_user_id	= ' . (int) $user->data['user_id'];
			$db->sql_query($sql);

No, I meant mods should delete users from a specific list.. So they should unsubscribe em

Yeah, that's what I meant, but I didn't wrote it. Sorry for that :?
Nevertheless the idea sounds useful so I put it on the To-Do list for further developments. Check first posting.
