ninhanhlove is reffering to the demo forum set up by the developer of this mod. that is where that issue is shown.

Demo board is down.
Does anyone have this installed?

Has it installed.

Any news about updating this mod? I'd like to make this optional... or collapsible

Can someone take this mod over by now? The author hasn't been around in forever and their website is dead & has been for some time now...

Looks pretty alive to me.

The demo board is just down. I'd been considering abandoning this, but in the back of my mind I knew I'd be fixing it some day.

I'll toy with it a bit right now on 3.0.1 and see what I can do.

Guys... I just installed this on my site using the newest phpBB and it works perfectly. :-|

If you're having a problem, there's either something wrong with your server or you don't know how to copy and paste.

I do notice the avatar problem, though. I will release an update shortly.

EDIT: Welcome Panel is now updated.

But for people who already had it installed:

Open: index.php

Find:

Code: Select all

	'TOPIC_COUNT'			=> $total_topics,
	'POST_COUNT'			=> $total_posts,
	'USER_COUNT'			=> $total_users,
Before add:

Code: Select all

	'PHPBB_ROOT_PATH'		=> $phpbb_root_path,
Open: styles/your_style/template/welcome_panel.html

Find:

Code: Select all

download.php?avatar={AVATAR_FILE}
Replace with:

Code: Select all

{PHPBB_ROOT_PATH}download/file.php?avatar={AVATAR_FILE}
Save and close all files, purge your cache.
Sorry for my bad Engrish !

Oh wow, sweet! I didn't actually install this, just took everyone's posts as it didn't work in the latest version.

I wouldn't abandon this mod, it's great.

Hi there, Gleasonator...
Nice mod, works great!!! :D
I would like the whole panel to be smaller, though... (for example 50% of the width)
How can I do this??
My mods in MODDB:
Add Homepage link in header - Change user activity post limit - Post number in viewtopic
If you need support click on the support tab there and post your question.
Do not PM me - chances of viewing my PMs are way thinner than viewing the support question in the customization DB...
