but one more problem. i created a few pages using different users, but when i click the user name, it always show "no page created" even tho the user has already created the page.
any idea?
The page will not show up in posts or profile untill you add a page order for it on the overview section in the ucp. Anything with an order of 0 is hidden, 1 is shown in posts and the rest are the order they are shown in the profile
I can help you edit your forums at a reasonable price, send a PM if you can't get something figured out here.

In your ucp...go to mypage then Overview and then give your page a number. By default the page is number 0 so you have to number them to get them to show

OOps, I've I had gone and read the next page, I would have seen that Josh answered. :oops:

Hi

I got a problem, I followed all the steps but the Mypage tag won't show up in den UCP.

* Uploaded files
* Made modifications
* Ran /mypage_install/ -> all ok
* Purged cache

The modules are there and enabled: Module management -> User Control Panel -> MyPage
Also under: Module management -> Administration Control Panel -> .Mod -> MyPage

Any ideas?

Did you refresh the templates in your style? What style are you using?

Also check your permissions for MyPage for your user groups. You need to enable it for users to see it.

Josh--Now I have a strange problem. MyPage works great on my fresh phpbb3 test forum, but when I try to put it on a test forum, that is a copy of my live forum, When I go to add images to inline or to background...it adds an extra "http://" to the lines. So my image lines when I add them look like this:

Code: Select all

http://http://localhost/forum/mypage.php?image=4

Refreshed template and enabled all permissions.
I am using the style UTIS.
I installed other mods which show new tabs in the UCP but this one doesn't.

You need to determine if UTIS is prosilver or subsilver based....then you need to make the edits to UTIS style according to which style is based on. You also need to upload the root files for that based style to UTIS folders.

Josh- I figured out how to get it not to display the "http://" twice in the editor.
I went to my ACP ->Server settings and removed under server protocol "http://".
I am afraid of doing this on my live board though...afraid that users won't be able to log in.
But I don't understand why a fresh install of phpbb3 has "http://" in the server settings and it still works correctly.
Is there something I am missing?

Also on subsilver2/template/mypage/ucp_edit.html - I think you forgot a

Code: Select all

</table>
tag.
When all else fails, read the instructions

This is not the first mod I installed, I did everything you said.
It is Prosilver based.

I installed this mod and it worked great for a while but now the background shows white in every page I create no matter what background colour I choose. I re-uploaded all the files in their respective directories, refreshed the template and cleared the cache and the background colour still shows white.

:::EDIT::: I just re-installed the entire thing and it works good now.
