1) The medals are not shown in member list, they are shown in view profile (memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=2)

2) You need to turn it on in ACP

I don't think I'm understanding this. There is a Medals module added to the UCP, right? But that only allows me to give myself an award or nominate myself for an award. How do you manage OTHER users' nominations?

Hi the file Medals_System_MOD-0_10_3-0_11_0.xml is broken in the Upgrades folder.

The lines

Code: Select all

		<open src="templates/prosilver/memberlist_view.html>
and

Code: Select all

		<open src="templates/subsilver2/memberlist_view.html>
are missing their closing "

They are also incorrect. It should be "styles/theme/template/"

I had a report about the missing quotes. I did not catch the missing folder. Thanks for the feedback.

Bug/Error I have been made aware of a rather embarrassing oversight on my part. Apparently, I have made the awarded medal delete function disappear. :oops: I will see if I can't get that fixed soon. Will be difficult as this is my busiest time of the year - both personally and with work.

Gremlinn hi. Whence it is possible to download version 10.3 as in 11.0 there are defects.
I am sorry for my English.

That is a good point. I will see what I can do.

For anyone with 0.11.0 installed, you can remove medals from a user via direct database action. You will need to locate the awarded medal and delete that entry. Don't forget to adjust the user_points field if you are using it.

This will only work if the old files have not been removed. New installs will not have the files needed for this fix.

Using version 0.11.0 only
1. use the Medals link added in the overall header then click on Medal Control Panel on the right to add medals to a user.

2. if wanting to delete a user's medal(s) try this quick fix (although not language savvy)
Open memberlist_view.html
Find

Code: Select all

<!-- IF U_SWITCH_PERMISSIONS --> [ <a href="{U_SWITCH_PERMISSIONS}">{L_USE_PERMISSIONS}</a> ]<!-- ENDIF -->
Add After on a new line

Code: Select all

			<!-- IF U_CAN_AWARD_MEDALS --> [ <a href="{U_CAN_AWARD_MEDALS}">{L_MEDAL_CP}</a> ]<!-- ENDIF -->
Open medals.php (in the forum root)
Find

Code: Select all

medalcp_awarded_user.html
Replace With

Code: Select all

ucp_medals_awarded_user.html
refresh/purge your cache. Go to a users profile and you'll see Medals Control Panel next to Administrate User. At least you'll be able to delete their medals -- ignore the language {UCP} in the award window. that that will need to be sorted.

cheers,
oddfish.
