[ABD] Medal System MOD for phpBB3

I have been using this great mod on my forum for quite a while, but only recently have I come across a problem.

Under a users avatar I have set it to display only 4 medals. Once a user has 4 medals under their avatar, once another is awarded, it does not show the newest awarded medal, only the first 4 the user was ever given.

Is their a fix for this at all?

Hi,

I'm wondering, if it's possible to sort the image names list in the ACP, when adding or editing medals. I just found the solution for another mod, but this won't work here, as the way of reading the medals directory is different solved (in the other one, the file names were read into an array and the array simply can be sorted using sort($array) ).

It would be really great to have them sorted here too, as it's painful to find the correct image, if you have a lot of them

Let me answer some of your questions. If I missed anyone, please bump your question.

vwrmic: What you are stating is not broken. It is designed the way you stated it. You have it set to show four medals. It will show the 4 highest medals a user has. If you want to show more, set the number higher.

femu: Please submit a sorting feature request on my support site (so I don't forget to see what I can do). Thanks.

darkhamsterlord: It looks like you edited the language/en/common.php file with an unfriendly editor. It doesn't look like it was saved without BOM. I like to use notepad++. It has the option to save the files in the different formats. And, it will detect the format a file was saved in and save it in that format.

Thanks for the reply Gremlinn. I always thought it would show the newest awarded medal, until now someone has been awarded 5. My site has one time medals, which are given out by the administrator, I don't use the feature where you can make medals have certain points? (Not sure how best to describe it.)

Is their anyway of making it show the latest medal awarded? I would appreciate if you could tell me how.

Permissions. Managing medals and the ability to award medals can be controlled via permissions. To manage medals, one needs access to the ACP.

Dynamic image - a base image + a device (for each medal awarded past the first one).
A device is an image that gets put on top of the base image for each award after the first.

1st award: Base image
2nd award: Base image + device-2 image
3rd award: Base image + device-3 image
etc...

Hi there

I have installed the mod and it looks as if i have done everything succesfully
i can see everything besides the medals LOL
I click on a user and award a medal but where i click on awward medal where u suppose to choose the medal it just says " No available medals"
i have installed the medals folder already on image/medals
but its as if its not seeing the right directory
can anyone maybe help

vwrmic: To do what you are thinking, you would need to change the sql query used to pull the user's medals. Change the order by statement to sort by date descending.

BioLogIn: I have not built in any function for deleting medals automatically.

Yeah i have already done that i can see my mods tab
and then if i click on there
it shows the 2 configs
Medals Control Panel and then Medals management
so i see all that with no problem
i think i now what im missing but i dunno how to do it correct me if im wrong
dont i need to add something on phpmyadmin?
