If you can see both the Configuration and the Medals Management, you have ALL the database changes!

Go to the Management panel and create a category for some medals. Then, within that category, add a medal (select a medal image, description, medal name, how many times the medal can be awarded (if more than one, static image or dynamically created (if dynamically created, which device image to be placed on top of the base image)), can the medal be nominated by anyone or only by medal moderators). If you want to use the medal points, then you will need to add a user_points field to the users table and set a row in the config table (as explained in the first post).

Then you will have a medal setup to give out.

first of all, great mod.
i had to adjust it a little bit for our guild.

but we´ve a problem:

how do i make more than 1 medal visible (in viewtopic_body.html / subsilver) ?

in the memberlist, there are the medals placed abreast
i would like to have the medals placed horizontally and just in vewtopic under the Avatar.

is there a chance ?

vwrmic: Do a little I apologize for not being able to be more clear. Work is overwhelming at the moment and home life has got me very busy as well. In my opinion, it is a simple thing to do. I recommend searching google for something like "mysql select query". That should get you somewhere onto mysql's documentation site for how to make select statements. Backup the files you change and make tests one at a time until you find what you are looking for in my files.

Valker: Yes, you can define how many medals are visible in viewtopic by making Medal Configuration changes. You will set how many across by how many down. So, a 2 across and 3 down setup would display the first 6 medals.

Hi Gremlinn, I have put your MOD on but when I go to the index the link to the Medal CP is not there.
Every thing works apart from the actual Medal CP, the link is not there. I only have the options in the ACP.

Dan27: Are you referring to the link that goes in the overall header? It is a link to medals.php. For that one, I can only suggest double checking your overall header template edits and clearing your cache. If that is not the one you are referring to, let me know.

If i click on medal management it doesnt go to medal management at all so it stays on Medals control panel basically
so i cant view what is in medal management

I think I saw that a long time ago. Try removing the module and re-adding it manually using the ACP -> System tools.

i deleted the whole module and then recreated aswell
i double checked all the files just to see if i werent missing something
