it's the same for subsilver.

/styles/subsilver2/template/viewtopic_body.html

find

Code: Select all

					<!-- IF postrow.POSTER_FROM --><br /><b>{L_LOCATION}:</b> {postrow.POSTER_FROM}<!-- ENDIF -->
after, add

Code: Select all

<!-- IF postrow.POSTER_WARNINGS -->
		{L_WARNINGS}: {postrow.POSTER_WARNINGS}
		<!-- ENDIF -->

this is without the yellow card. :lol:

Nice try, indeed !!! ;)
But if you use an image, then if the user has eg 3 warnings, it must display 3 yellow cards and not 1... ;)

EDIT: So, since I could not find of a better way I just altered it a little bit...

Code: Select all

<!-- IF postrow.POSTER_WARNINGS --><dd><strong>{L_WARNINGS}:</strong> <img src="./styles/prosilver/imageset/icon_yellow.gif"> x {postrow.POSTER_WARNINGS}</dd><!-- ENDIF -->
Now it appears like this: :lol:

hahaha. I see u're using the phpbb2 democracy mod images. well, I guess it's up to you. for me, 2 or more cards would pretty much be overcrowding the area on the left.

Still waiting for someone to come up with the banned function ( display a red card when a user has been banned) ;)

and on phpbb3 is it possible for other users to view a each other's warning? (like see why a user has been warned. reasons...) if so, the cards should have a link to the page.

Well. to be honest, the first thing that needs to be done about warnings, is the ability for an admin to remove them..
Because right now you can't... :(

P.S.: In my live phpbb2 forum I do use the democracy mod :D

You can alter it to something like :

Code: Select all

<!-- IF not S_IS_BOT --><!-- IF S_USER_LOGGED_IN --><!-- IF postrow.POSTER_WARNINGS --><br /><b>{L_WARNINGS}:</b> {postrow.POSTER_WARNINGS}<!-- ENDIF --><!-- ENDIF --><!-- ENDIF -->
So that only reg users can see it...(This is tested and works)

Alternately, you can use

Code: Select all

<!-- IF U_MCP -->
for mods only or

Code: Select all

<!-- IF U_ACP -->
for admin only...
Those last two, I've not tested them...
:)

In ACP -> Board Settings, you can set the number of days that will elapse before the warning will automatically expire from a user’s record.

But yeah being able to remove warnings would be a good feature. ;)

and we need a function for moderators(or admins, whatever) to decide on the spot for how long each warning or ban should last before expiring, instead of configuring it on the ACP. cos sometimes different offenses have different warning / ban periods.
