Nope, not there on mine either.

I am using RC5 tho still, if that makes a difference. Will move to RC7 this week unless RC8 shows up.

Ergh...always forget this little damn detail, haha.
Now worked!

Thanks Raimon!

Ps for all: have to add user's permission and GLOBAL MODERATORS permission to acept an article!

EDIT

Now i'm gonna report a bug, when i'm reading an article and wanna back to knowlegde base main page via header information (Board index < Knowlegde Base), lead me to this page: http://127.0.0.1/phpBB3/kb.php and not to http://127.0.0.1/phpBB3/artikel/, the correct way if a press, per example, "back to knowlegde base" in the footer of mod.

ok, not a bug, just a wrong code line leading me to nowhere :D

All working fine now!

I have made a update and fixed all known bugs. To update from old version replace all files and execude in your DB

Code: Select all

ALTER TABLE `phpbb3_kb_artikel` ADD `artikel_time` VARCHAR( 14 ) NOT NULL ;
ALTER TABLE `phpbb3_kb_artikel` ADD `enable_bbcode` TINYINT( 1 ) NOT NULL AFTER `bbcode_options` ;
ALTER TABLE `phpbb3_kb_artikel` ADD `enable_smilies` TINYINT( 1 ) NOT NULL AFTER `bbcode_options` ;
ALTER TABLE `phpbb3_kb_artikel` ADD `enable_magic_url` TINYINT( 1 ) NOT NULL AFTER `bbcode_options` ;
I'm gonna use this with a lot of information, and, as we can see in your demo here: http://www.gameserveradmin.de/artikel/, the sub-categories have a few articles, but in my case, i'm gonna have it a lot. The suggestion is: the subcategorie display the last new addition and have a limite, example: 5, and after a button with "see all articles" or something like that. Got it :?: In this way, 1 subcategorie could have a lot of articles.
This Mod is only for small KBs, maybee I will write a other Mod with categories like in the forum.
In your demo, we can see two colunns, is it default
Yes, the first categorie is on the left side, the second on the right, the third on the left and so on.
If you could teach us how to put adsense like here: http://www.gameserveradmin.de/artikel/7.html
maybe using 'flow' html code before posting_body of knowledge article, i'm just guessing.
Open the kb_show.html and find

Code: Select all

		<div id="smiley-box">

		</div>
replace with

Code: Select all

		<div id="smiley-box">
Here your Adsense Code
		</div>

I really like in the way it's, because in a new mod with categories like in the forum, it's easier to make a second forum for it, don't you think ? :roll:

Hope you reconsider my idea to enlarge knowledge infos. ;)

thank for your attention!

EDIT

In your download site there is:
Version: 0.1.3 [beta]

But in your first topic:
Mod Version: 0.1.4

which is correct :?:

Hello!

Code: Select all

{ CONT_ARTIKEL }: 0 • { CONT_CAT }: 0 • { NEWEST_ARTICLE }: 0

Here you can create main categories in which you then in turn in sub-categories for the articles

Hi Tas,

I hope you don't mind but I took the liberty of fixing up the English in your Eng related files as there was quite a few translation errors - including the names of the modules still in German? (correct me if i am wrong) so this might explain why people have been having difficulty in realising that they are supposed to install modules in the ACP, as they aren't easily identified.

Anyway, I have fixed up the includes/acp/info/acp_kb.php, and language/english/mods/kb.php files for you and they are located here.

In order for the new Modules to be used with the English names, the previous German ones need to be removed from the ACP and reinstalled (after the altered acp_kb.php file has been uploaded) for those who have already installed them previously.

The only line I left intact in kb.php that may still need translating properly is the following:
'KB_DESCRIPTION' => 'If you yourself have written an article, you can play him at the end of the page to submit an audit after the article we will publish it here. ',
Sorry but I cannot work out what this is supposed to mean, so don't know what to change it to in English :(

But I hope the other files come to good use.

Cheers,

Nikki :)

Hello redtrinity,

You did a great job. Congratulations and thanks!

i found one untranslated to english. Search for any words that exist in an article and will show it:
"Gefunden in: Artistas"

In english (maybe): "Found in: Category Name"

Bye and thanks!
