Thanks, because this looks like a great mod.

Well, his site seems to be down but I'll try it again tomorrow.

pardesi wrote:in the ACP when i used the KB configuration thing and i insert the code

Code: Select all

{URL}
in the template it gives an output like

Code: Select all

../knowledge/kb_show.php?id=42
in the forum relevant to the article!!
as such i am not able to link to the article directly....is there a way to change

Code: Select all

../knowledge/kb_show.php?id=42
to

Code: Select all

www.yourforum.com/knowledge/kb_show.php?id=42
I'm having the same problem. A clickable link is not being made in the forum post that is automatically made when a article is activated. Anyone have a fix for this?

Also, the drop down box on kbposting.php does not style correctly because you can't use disabled="disabled" in IE. You are able to select main categories.

I want to change the directory name to something more appropriate for the way I am using it.

How would I go about changing that (besides just editing the folder name)?

Open the language file in language/en/mods kb.php I think its called.
And edit it to your needs.

I did that. But what I am asking is to change domain/forum/knowledge to domain/forum/whatiwanthere. It won't work when I just changed the folder name.

it has to work if you change the folder name...

If your folder is at http://yourdomain.com/forum/knowledge
and you rename it

then its going to be http://yourdomain.com/forum/whatever your renamed
