The list is the dropdown one, yeah? Titled "Choose Module"? I am not getting any statistic related modules coming up in that list :(
That's it!

so, make sure you have uploaded all files correctly, like language files at your correct language folder, and for your correct template folder.

try to purge cache.

This should be like this in picture:

Thanks Chico, I appreciate your help. Am still trying to get it working, even uploaded all the module files to every folder within the includes folder (as well as the fs one) but it just isn't detecting them :(

All other files seem to be in their right places.

Will keep trying, though.

Hmm I noticed that all the other modules in the dropdown list (where the stats ones should be) and their files within the folder where all the other module files are kept all start with "ACP_xxxxx" but there doesn't seem to be any files within the Statistics package that start with that extension... would that be causing this issue by any chance??

Ok nm... I don't know how the heck I just got it working but it appears I did  Have finally gotten the Stats menu appearing where it should be on the far left menu and am now able to add the submenus automatically!

So progress finally being made, will update soon when I am hopefully done with a complete install :D

Guys, I'm sorry for the bugs reported by .::Chico::. , they were actually unhandled divide by zero errors, which have been fixed and the bugfix version will be put up today. There were many possibilities of division by zero which were unhandled but now I've fixed them. I just went to sleep after posting the MOD! :D

The typos in install instructions have been noted. I'll make it a replace statement rather than a after-add statement so that its a workaround anyway.

For the module creation instructions, let me explain in detail. Initially even I tried giving sql statements to work. But soon found out that making some minor changes would break most of the modules since it identifies the modules order by the left & right ids. If you are creating them yourself, it would be easier thats what I feel. And more importantly why have phpBB3 devs kept the Module management and creation feature for? Just utilise the good job done by them.

The module creation instructions are a bit too long and that was the best I could put in words there. I hope you could understand them...

One more thing I would like to clarify... once you have edited all the files, and login to your ACP, there will be 'Forum Statistics' under module management (below Moderator control panel). Enter it. Now when you are creating a module (or a category), the url shows 'mode=fs', which makes the current module (or category) go under fs even though the parent is 'No parent'. The install instructions in this regard are correct. I'll urge you to read them properly and understand before continuing.
(btw, the module categories under UCP & MCP also have parent as 'No parent'!)

Thanks .::Chico::. for the test board. I'll be posting the 0.1.2 version (beta 2) today. Hopefully that won't have any bugs.

Thanks.

I did get it working and it looks great, well done UniqueTiger :D I don't have any complaints or feedback at all as I am generally happy with it atm, but I couldn't help but notice that the Monthly Periodic Stats are incorrect?

For example atm it lists 389 new registrations for December 2007 (we have had about 5 sofar this month) and then it has just 4 for last month, when we had almost 50. The months before that all the way back to Jan are all 0, which is incorrect.

I'm assuming the monthly posts and topics stats are incorrect too as they look very similar to the above.

Any ideas? :D

Thanks in advance!

Nikki :)

Oh, forgot to ask - what is the proceedure in regards to displaying statistics of protected forums? For example, we have an admin section where only admin are able to access - will any entries in the statistics for this section be available to general members to view?

I hope that the permissions work accordingly for the display of these protected areas in the same way they do for the general forum - similar to that of the statistics mod for PHPBB2 :) So in other words, admin have the admin topics/section stats displayed as entries but non-admin cannot see them - and alternative entries instead related to the sections they can see/access.

If that makes sense :)

For the one who had asked if so many queries on the index page would make loading slower, I'll like to clarify that the statistics are shown on an entirely different page and not on the index page. You can access this page by clicking the 'Statistics' link on the index page where statistics are normally shown.

@ RedTrinity,
Atm the statistics are shown from all forums irrespective of whether the user can see/read or not. I already have the permissions thing at the back of my mind and thats one thing I'll like to complete in future.

About the wrong statistics, on my localhost, it shows the stats correctly. I'll need to check more. I'd like to have .::Chico::.'s opinion on this whether he is seeing the same wrong stats...

Will get back when I find out more...

Oh, and forgot to mention another thing, I'm planning to overhaul the daily and monthly statistics, since I myself feel there is an easier and shorter way to get and sort those stats. Initially I felt that they could not be done the way I've implemented hourly stats, but a little more thought made it clear I can get them in that easier way too!

@TheUniqueTiger
Your doing an amazing job, my community is really interested in your mod as I've upgraded from phpbb2 to phpbb3. Great work, I'll give it a try myself when Beta2 is released.

I seems some have got it running already, would be nice to get hold of some pics. :)
