It is definately easier I agree, then again it is called a sitemap and when your site consists of more then the board you do have a problem, you surely can agree on this? For many this will do again for many it won't but for what it is suppost to do after your explanation it works 100%. Perhaps in your explanation you can be a bit more specific, because most who will come for this will have more experience in SEO modding I guess and might be dissapointed otherwise. The more simple environements usually don't need sitemaps I think.
