khouch - copy all from root/lang/en/ into your board language folder i.e. /de or /fr or /ru

sweland -

ACP -> PERMISSIONS -> Admin Roles. Edit and look in Ajax Shoutbox tab and set to YES.
ACP -> PERMISSIONS -> User Roles. Edit Moderator group first. Ajax Shoutbox and select all options to YES.
Edit other groups to allow use of shoutbox.

oddfish - thanks for your reply i did everythings that you told me and yes now i saw the MOD but i did everythings the only problems is that i cant see the shoutbox in my Forum

do you know why ?

This mod is working without errors at my Board. (Version: phpbb3 Gold)

try this :

As admin - make sure you are also a member of the Global Moderator group (check the instructions I put for sweland above in case you have not). Purge cache and refresh template.

OK people can someone please telll me where I need to upload those file to start installation? I am a bit confused with this install.xml ..sorry for this question but I am new in this...also I am using prosilver style and phpbb 3.0 do I need some changes for that style...I really appriciatte any of your help guys..Thx in advance...I have downloaded this version from this topic cause I read this one working great or someone suggest maybe to use 1.02?

I have uploaded all files and after I press on install I get message MOD Insallet OK thats great ...than I cleared all caches and there is no Shout box

I dod not use before any shout box all I have its prosilver style without any mods so far a little bit color changes thats all my board! http://www.hladnica.com/forum

Than I went back to ACP and under MODS button I see this error...please if someone can tell me what is wrong...I see mysql error but what that means what I should do about??

you didnt edit all files, as noted within install.xml.

hello Paul and others

i decided to upgrade from 1.0.2 --->1.1.x
and in the admin panel i click on MOD settings and MOD overview and it says.
i used the upgrade.php and it said everything was successful

Try looking in the error log, maybe there is somre more info.

Uhm.. This is a stupid question, but I can't find the install.php file from /root/install/. Install.xml says that it is included in 1.1.0 zip, but still cant find it from there...

That should be index.php instead of install.php. Will fix it for the next versoion

i get this error where the enter text field should be when using the shoutbox. i upgraded from 1.0.x
