Does this change colors with your theme or to you have to manually change the colors? If you do have to manually change them is there a css file or do you have to touch each file?

Thanks for your assistance.
It's a prosilver style... there are a few css edits you should download the mod and look at the prosilver install instructions. They are well documented, so you should be able to figure out what you need to match your prosilver based color scheme. If you're not using prosilver, you'll have to design your own calendar UI to match your preferred style.

I have found what may be a potential bug.

All of the calendar entries are offset by 30 minutes.
By that I mean if an event is from 0900 to 1900, it is displayed in the calendar as being from 0830 to 1830.

You can see what I mean here:
http://www.cliptheapex.com/calendar.php ... &calY=2008

Any idea how this can be easily corrected?

I don't interpret the layout the same way you do... It looked correct to me. If you draw lines between each number displayed at the top and say those lines represent the start and end of each hour, then your event is displayed properly as starting right at 9am not 8:30.

From what I gather, you interpreted this display to assume a line drawn down from the middle of the numbers indicates the start and end of each hour block... however that would indicate that the day view starts at 11:30pm of the previous day and ends at 11:30pm of the current day... that's obviously not what was intended.

I see your point.
At first glance it appears the events start 30 minutes prior to the actual start time.

I may consider putting a small vertical divider between each hour as that would make it easier to see then.

Regards.

I don't understand your question about whether you'll have to code it yourself? The installation instructions and required files are listed in the install guide... please start there and report back if you have more detailed questions.

For some reason im missing every "edit file". also how would i upload this? wait a second index.php isn't that if you have your own website not a freeforums website your own domain?

-sorry i'm a beginner, im good with html but this is both insane and fun.-

If you just have a free forum, and don't have the power to FTP files and/or access phpmyAdmin, this mod is not for you - for that matter phpbb may not be for you - if you look at the basic requirements I don't think it's guaranteed to work on free forums where you don't have complete control.

When I give admins the permission to manage the calendar and submit it I get the message that the role is successfully edited.
When I go back to the role the permissions is back on "no".

It's like the permissions aren't saved or something like that.

Anyone with a solution?

Thanks in advance
Sounds like you had problems in your install... perhaps you have duplicate permissions in the acl_options table?
How can I check this?

I have installed the calendar mod. I only have a problem, i can't change the permissions in the admin. When i change it, it keeps going back to the old permissions. So when i check it to green, when i check the permissions again, they are red again.

edit: it was the cache :s

hello, i have a phpbb3portal installed, and i'd really like my calendar_events_on_index.html to show on the portal page, i've tried copying the code from the index_body.html file to that of the portal_body.html but it is screwing everything up, just wondering what i must do cuz it seems the most obvious answer is actually something that screws up the entire layout.

My host use MySQL 5.0.32. Are ther any info how to add and modify my tables?

I tried to use the search this thread but it looks like the search function is broken because I get results from all topics... :(

*EDIT*
Used Google and found this thred and this post. :)
The SQL commands in the install package are compatible with MySQL 5.

I run it in my WAMP server and my host runs 5.0.51a on the server where my site is hosted. The SQL worked on both.

I'm glad you found your answer... for future reference, I have instructions for using the forum search successfully in the author notes of this mod (see the first post or install instructions).
