Ok all worked greatly,thanks to alighter and marian for subsilver support.
I also did an italian translation for 0.1.0. version (the previus has lots of blank fields since it was made for 0.0.7).
so if anyone want to try it,here it is:

Installed the calendars on my backup forum to test them out. Running MySQL version 5, and received an error when trying to go on index_body.
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'AND t.template_id = s.template_id AND c.theme_id = s.theme_id AND i.imag' at line 4 [1064]
Now it no longer lets me go on index_body, or my portal, and says:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/content/c/o/d/codered29/html/f/cache/tpl_proFormell_overall_header.html.php on line 264

Alightner, it's just a tiny thing but in your prosilver html files there are 7 instances of <br> that should be <br /> to make them xhtml valid. Can't say exactly where, when I found one I just replaced them all in one go with notepad++ You might want to check that out before releasing the mod, whenever that is ;) Just thought I'd mention it. I know, I can be a bit of a nitpicker sometimes, sorry :oops:

I updated the link for the subsilver files in my earlier post.

If you go back a few pages you will see that other people have had problems with portal too... I didn't write portal, and don't know what the cause/fix is, but it sounds like whoever wrote the portal code needs an update for the latest version of the calendar. Also the second error message mentions "tpl_proFormell_overall_header.html.php" so I'm guessing you're not using the prosilver style? There may be a problem with your style that needs to be fixed to work with the calendar.

Does it help if you empty your cache folder completely (except .htacces and index.html ofcourse) with your ftp program?

I made it in IE, but they look fine to me in FF :?: Posting an event looks different in FF, but still okay to me. And the viewevent page looks the same for me in IE and FF, except for a small difference in font size.

This is how the posting page looks for me in FF

So what do you mean by screwy?

EDIT - try this: go to calendar_post_body and on line 17 change

Code: Select all

<td class="row1" colspan="3" align="center">
to

Code: Select all

<td class="row1" colspan="3" align="left">
Is that better?

I just meant exactly what you just said and showed in the screenshots. I guess I could edit the templates to left align the posting page items and increase the font on the view event page. No worries.

Okay I've been playing around with it a bit and you're right, it does look better. I updated the files and edited the downloadlink. Thanks for the input!

If you read through the past few pages, you'll find that's a bug in internet explorer 8... the lines are there, but depending on how wide your browser window is, ie8 will just decide not to display them. Some users found that using a "fixed width" mod to keep their forum from "stretching" and "shrinking" to fit the width of the browser window helped fix it... boo for a sloppy ie8 release :twisted:
