Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have just updated my php from 3.0.6 to the newest version. I am running an Acid Tech Dark Blue Theme. (subsilver2)

Can someone please direct me if this is the best calendar mod to install on my site. I have search the forums and there are so many pages to topics I cant really identify what would be best as per the above?

You probably don't want to hear this but... Make your life easier and a little future-proof by switching to a prosilver style

Subsilver instructions are in this thread somewhere, you'll have to dig for them though.

For some reason my icons are not showing. I can mouse over where the "new event", "day", "week" buttons and click on them, but I just can't see the icons. I manually installed this MOD and even triple checked it after finding the posts on page 243 explaining that AutoMOD missed a few lines.

The .gif files are located in the imageset/en folder and everything seems to be fine.

Any ideas?

I've tried doing the troubleshooting steps 4 and 5 but still, no icons. I'm the forum founder so I'm an administrator with full access rights to the calendar.

EDIT: Figured it out. Apparently I didn't follow the exact syntax of the previous buttons in buttons.css and colours.css.

i translated the calendar mod into german for my board. I would like to provide you the translations, but it looks like i'm not able or allowed to append files here. What else way can i provide the files?

An i still have a problem with the mod, too.
I'm running a phpBB 3.0.7 with the board 3 portal mod and want to display the upcoming events box on the portal page instead of the forum index page.

Therefore i modified the template and added to the portal.php like it is added to the index.php in installation.xml.

But this results in an SQL-Query error. The calendar_display_calendar_on_index() function calls in its second line. In this setup function then in includes/session.php assembles an SQL query in line 1591 which fails because $style is empty.
I haven't found out yet, what's the difference between calling the same thing from index.php or from portal.php.
Maybe someone can help me or at least has a hint?

I got the events lines to appear in the portal by using some information from there and other places.
I had to create a calendar.html and do some other edits. Let me know if I can help.

That was not exactly what i wanted. I wanted to get the box like it is shown on the index as is to portal.

But your link helped me to solve this.

The mistake just was to call calendar_display_calendar_on_index() before $user->setup('mods/lang_portal').
Calling it after this, it works fine.

I havent been using phpBB for quite a while now and testing and creating a new forum wich needs a calendar for attendance.
This mod looks perfect for the job.

Ive been searching this thread for while to get some answers but cant seem to find what im looking for.

If you make a new event you get the option yes/no/maybe.
I would only like to have Yes / No
Is this changeable?
If so could you tell where to look for it.
Other questions will probs be answered aswell if i know where to look

I should to use this mod, but Allready when I should to insert my mysql in the database, it given a fail.. Someone have a "up-to-date" mysql dump I can usë??

I have installed my the calendar, and its seen beatiful, thanks you for this mod. But I have a one problem.

When I go to the calendar tab in my navigationsbar, i cant see the calender, but i get this message:

You do not have appropriate permissions to perform this operation.

And when I set the calendar from my acp to I can see it on my index board, Its fail a little, like this:

What I should do? Please help, and Iam have a little problem with my sql like my earlier comment..?

Perhaps it might help, if you tell us, what the error message is?

Maybe this sql error already prohibits setting your rights correctly, which results in you can't see the calendar.

I have solve this problem, but now i have this problem with my design to my calender (read my earlier comment)

The thing i can see on your screenshot is, that you have selected weekly view and there is one week shown. Only thing is, that the font color is a bit bad on this blue background.
If that is your problem, you probably forgot to copy the calendar css files to your webspace, forgot to clear the theme cache, or it's just a bad color setting and you need to modify the colors in the corresponding css file.

Set the correct permissions in your ACP for your user or group.
