Make sure you upload the prosilver files to the directory of the style you're using.

Also, be sure to make the prosilver file edits to the style you're using.

Before you do anything though, make sure you back-up your files :idea:

I'm sure for my upload and edit files in my style, my problems are when I edit this file
styles/se_sprites/imageset/fr/imageset.cfg (because I'm French)
there is'n't this line

Code: Select all

img_icon_post_edit = icon_post_edit.gif*20*42
And in the file styles/se_sprites/theme/buttons.css
There isn't this lines

Code: Select all

.calendar-new-icon span    { background: transparent none 0 0 no-repeat; }
.calendar-day-icon span    { background: transparent none 0 0 no-repeat; }
.calendar-week-icon span   { background: transparent none 0 0 no-repeat; }
.calendar-month-icon span  { background: transparent none 0 0 no-repeat; }
It's an other format, can you help me ?

For the imageset file you can simply paste the referenced code (that the Install file says to Add After) to the bottom of the list.

For the buttons.css file you're listing the code you're supposed to Add After (not find) the code below:

Code: Select all

.forwardpm-icon span 	{ background: none 0 0 no-repeat; }

Again... Make back-ups of the files before you make changes.

Curious about this mods future.

I am thinking about using it but I am unsure if I should since its been in dev since Jan 2008 and is still in beta and the fact that alighter has not posted since Nov 2010. I don't want to get started using something that is not going to see active development to release.

Any advice?

ahh ... finally a mod i've searched for.

installed it with no problems an it works fine.

i have two questions:

1. i'd like to be able to make events visible to public but only some groups can sign up.
1. would be also nice if event would open in standard topic window. so people could coment on it and forum permissioning could be applied to it.

ok, hair pulling time... I went ahead and installed the mod since its the only thing I can find that does what I need... but, like many others I've ran into the problem of missing icons and buttons.... I've scoured through the posts but I didn't find a solution that worked for me... I'm at my wits end please halp...

I already tried that. I'm still working on trying to figure it out. Ugh... I'm just not sure at this point why its not working I've checked everything and tried two different browsers clearing both of their cache....

it looks to me that u did not set up your permissions right. go to permissions and give the administrators all rights in the Calendar tab. off course u have to be admin.

icons or not, if u have permissions set correctly u should be able to click on the number and create the event. after u accomplish that we can see whats happening with the icons.

I had already setup permissions and the numbers were clickable already. I went ahead and setup a test event on March 20th and nothing looks different...

Just to let you know I do have the Edit all and Delete All buttons when I'm looking at an event... It seems I'm only missing the icons on the calendar itself...

I'm having some of the same issues other have had but I never seen any deffinite solutions...

For instance... When I review the error console for firefox I find the same issue with it not putting the proper height/width for the CSS file.

Below is the output the error console spits out for....

Code: Select all

.buttons div.calendar-new-icon	{ width: px; height: px; text-align: left; }
.buttons div.calendar-day-icon	{ width: px; height: px; text-align: left; }
.buttons div.calendar-week-icon	{ width: px; height: px; text-align: left; }
.buttons div.calendar-month-icon	{ width: px; height: px; text-align: left; }
Locked
