Ah ... the style is *based* on Artodia Elegance. Like your style, it's been modded beyond recognition. But as other Artodia-based people here trying to implement this mod are finding out, the current styling does not play well so I basically had to go through all the template and css files.

Yes I do hope this thing gets traction. Even a bare bones slimmed down version of this thing (maybe only a month view?). phpBB lacking something as basic as a calendar module is practically laughable. My hats off to the crusaders in this effort that's for sure.

I been through all the permissions a dozen of times.

I'm starting to think i may have missed an edit some where.
Just not to sure where to start.

I guess i could start from the beginning and double check all my edits.

BTW: I'm using subsilver2 style with (marian0810) subsilver edits.
With her edits all has been working great with my subsilver2 styles but i just noticed there are no (full edit/Delete) Image.

I was kinda hoping she would chime in on this one.

Okay I installed the new version on my testforum and gave it a try too. It works for me, and the w3 validator doesn't seem to hate it :D so maybe some people can test this out for me and let me know if it needs improvement. The only files that need editing are overall_header.html and index_body.html.

I looked and I don't have this file: yourdomain/includes/acp/acp_calendar.php
I do have this file though: yourdomain/includes/acp/info/acp_calendar.php

How can I get this file and why is it missing? Apparently it wasn't included in my download.

Thanks!

yes it is included in your download. if it is missing for some reason, download the MOD again and upload all the files/folders from the MOD's root folder to your board's root folder again just to be sure all the files are there.

the link found on that page never loads.

however, I don't understand what the problem with installing this on subsivler is.

you simply copy the new html files to the subsilver2/template folder.

then you make the three template file edits listed for prosilver to your subsilver files and add the css for prosilver css files to the subsilver stylesheet.css file and you are done.

If "never" translates into "now", then you are right - until a few weeks ago it definitely did ;)

So why don't you just share your knowledge about these few edits with him instead of telling him that you know something he apparently doesn't?

Maybe because it simply is not true, the way Lumpy suggested only means you would be dumping prosilver into a subsilver(based) style! (and use the wrong stylesheet, making it bigger than needed).

So in short.. it would still be prosilver if you do something like that, simply because of the very different structures between the 2 styles ;)

actually it does work exactly as I said.

the only thing I had to change was to put the code that belongs in the overall_footer.html file in prosilver, in the viewtopic_body.html file in subsilver2

as I said, you have to add all of the css to the stylesheet.css file because subsilver2 does not have all the other css files.

there are a few more tweaks to get it to dispaly across the page if that is what you want. right now, in subsilver2 , the calendar is only taking up a small part of the page when in prosilver it expands to the width of the rest of the board.

however, it does work as I said it would .

the idea that the html files that come with it won't work in subsilver2 is just plain wrong. just because subsilver uses tables and prosilver does not, doesn't mean that the html files can not be interchanged.

before you say it doesnt' work, try it and see for yourself. I don't just make this stuff up.

what is to share more than what I said. if you do what I said, it works. simple as that.

and I meant what I said about that link. if you click on it , it never loads.
I didn't say that it has never loaded.

It may have at one time, but that is not relevant to what it does right now.

I hope we can agree on two points Lumpy ..
- it's not subsilver edits and it should not be done like that
- you get a huge stylesheet
otherwise we disagree

I don't have to test it because I have my own subsilver/black pearl edits fully working and following the real style.

About the "never loading link" to Dicky's board you are wrong too (but you could not help that  )

Here are Dircky's subsilver edits atttached (incase it goes offline again ;) )
EDIT: can't attach, so the subsilver2 addon can be found >>HERE<< (these are Dircky's edits, I have not tested these either)
