I just wanted to offer a huge thank you for this MOD.

The installation and setting up of it took a little figuring out - but even for a relatively inexperienced Admin like myself I've found it to be supremely easy use (and I've even managed to customise its styling to fit in with the rest of my board - a big achievement for me, haha!).

Anyway, I can barely begin to imagine the amount of work that has gone into it all, not just in its origination but also thanks to its development through the contributions and feedback of others.

Just brilliant! THANK YOU! :D

I've used it here: http://www.camrakernow.info/phpBB3/calendar.php

I am using Board3 Portal 2.0.1 Mod and want to add a calendar block linked to calendar 0.1.1 by alightner. Is there any way to do that? I searched the whole internet for a solution with no results.

Thanks for your help, community.

Hi,
unfortunately, alightner's calendar mod isn't compatible with Board3 Portal 2.0.x (yet).
So far, there's only one approach to solution:
http://board3.de/viewtopic.php?p=29473#p29473

Currently, you can only display with this addon the next upcoming events.

I need a solution for following problem:

Every (new) user should watch the calendar and every (new) event automatically.

Well, if you want to display the calendar as the initial site, try following:
OPEN /root/.htaccess
FIND DirectoryIndex index.php index.html index.htm
REPLACE WITH DirectoryIndex calendar.php index.php index.html index.htm

Hope, this helps :)

No, what I meant was... there is a function to "watch" the calendar or a event. If you "watch" it you receive an e-mail notification, if something new was created or something changed. But users have to manually activate this function at the calender and at every single event.

I need a solution that every user is watching (subscribing) automatically the calendar and every event. Also new users and new events.

Hello
I'm using a portal (Board3 Portal) and would like to place the calendar code in an empty block. For example: Week view. Is this possible and if it is, in which php-file do I find the code?
