Any fix for this?
Please have a look into your ACP->MODS->Calendar(or wherever you've installed the calendar acp module)
Check following settings:
Time Format: It must be set toH:i
Date and Time Format: It must be set to[c]M d, Y h:i
Also check on your board settings
Date format:This must be set to D j. M Y, H:i

The easiest solution for your request is probably following MySQL-Query:

Code: Select all

UPDATE phpbb_calendar_watch SET notify_status = 1;
This sets the 'watch' flag on every current user.

For new users
OPEN /root/includes/functions_user.php
FIND

Code: Select all

		// Now set the flags back
		$sql = 'UPDATE ' . POSTS_TABLE . '
			SET post_reported = 0
			WHERE ' . $db->sql_in_set('post_id', $report_posts);
		$db->sql_query($sql);
ADD AFTER

Code: Select all

		//notify every user via email automatically about new events from the calendar
		$sql = 'UPDATE ' . CALENDAR_WATCH . '
			SET notify_status = 1;
		$db->sql_query($sql);
EDIT: One semicolon added on the last code block

It doesn't seem that this has any effect. I tested the result with two different accounts, they are still not "watching" the calendar.

I don't know why, but this generates general Error500 (eg. Logout).

Frustrating :/

Hello :)

Would it be hard to automatically create a thread when submitting an event ? Or allow "real" posts as answers ?

It would allow us to post feedbacks in this thread after the event has occurred...

Thanks !

Im very, truly sorry if i am asking a question that has already been addressed I have went through all the pages in this thread (its taken me about a month, doing it here and there), looking for it, and don't believe i've seen it, but at times ive been at it reading posts for hours until i feel like my eyes where going to bleed, so i may have missed it.. If I did i greatly apologize.

I have this mod installed on my forms here: http://www.thecaverns.net/Discussion/

Its working fine, with the exception that I cant accsess/see the module settings in the ACP. I have went in, and added it in the module management section of the ACP (system, admin control panel, add create module, etc.. I understand how to do that). But even after i do that, the option to go into the module settings does not appear.

Im not highly skilled and my trouble shooting has lead to no results. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Still don't know if it's possible that all users will be automatic subscribed to "watch" the calendar.

Hi everyone.

I'm trying to try this mod. My setup at http://forum.blkjk.us:
  • phpBB 3.0.12 (recently updated from 3.0.11) in Portuguese-Brazil
  • personalization of 0mega theme
  • AutoMOD version 1.0.2
    Others MOD:
    • WP-UNITED: WordPress-phpBB Integration Package
    • Tapatalk
    • Share On
I already uploaded the phpBB Calendar package and when I click at DETAILS at AutoMOD pane, i receive this error:
  • Fatal error: Call to a member function set_file() on a non-object in /{local}/forum/includes/mod_parser.php on line 56
When I install the package, the process finishes with success, but the menu entry for Calendar configuration, at GENERAL pane, don't show up. The forum still works normal, but with none signal of Calendar installation. Not even an error.

What can be the problem(s)? Incompatibility with phpBB version? With the theme? With the general language? All of the above? =]

@ messala

Download UMIL made compatible for this calendar mod here viewtopic.php?f=70&t=666195&start=3975#p13189971

Upload to forum directory and simply install with automod in ACP. Works with 3.0.12.

Thanks for reply, Peter.

I noticed that the Calendar was already working right. To me, I guess as the MOD have not yet support to pt-br, the advanced permissions was grouped in MISC tab, not in CALENDAR, and the permissions names was showed as their meta-name, like {name-of-permission}.

Hey guys, I hope you can help me with an issue I've been dealing with for a long time. I couldn't find a solution, neither in this thread nor via Google. I'm sorry if I overread something important.

So here it is:
I'm looking for any possibility to cancel or delete an user's reply/registration for an event. I could only find a way to change the user's comment or type of reply (YES/NO/MAYBE), but no way to simply delete that reply for an event. Am I missing something obvious or is there no way to do that?

By the way: This mod is just awesome!

What kind of updates are you looking for? The mod works mostly as expected, despite some special needs.

Anything I guess, It's just that I've gone through two (I think) phpbb updates without updating this mod. It does still work fine but just wondered.
