$meta_info = append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}calendar.$phpEx", "calM=".$date['month_no']."&calY=".$date['year']);
to

Code: Select all

$meta_info = append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}calendar.$phpEx");
The real fix is at the start of the function handle_event_delete. There are a list of global varibles like:

Code: Select all

global $user, $db, $auth;
Add the $date variable to the list like this:

Code: Select all

global $user, $db, $auth, $date;

I've seen that too, but I think it's just ie - the weird thing is that they're defined the same way on everypage, so I'm not sure why it gets squished there. If anyone can find the answer to this one let me know :D

{ acl_u_as_delete } are the things supposed to come up like that
I have no idea what you did to get to this point. Did you start with a clean install of phpbb3 gold standard release? Your image lists permissions like "acl_u_as_bbcode" and "acl_u_as_delete", and these are completely unrelated to my mod... in fact they're completely unrelated to phpbb3 as far as I know. I did a search in the gold standar release for both of those strings and found nothing. The closest I could find was acl_u_pm_bbcode and acl_u_pm_delete. But I have no idea what changed the "pm" to "as" in your code. :(

I would guess it's something weird like that - because in my personal experience one wrong thing in a language file can cause catastrophic forum failure :roll: I'm not sitting at your computer so I can't diagnose it for certain, as there aren't any calendar related error messages. My best advice is to return to your original files (assuming you backed things up as standard operating procedure for installing any mod) and then try to re-install this mod.

I have fixed all of the bugs found so far today and repackaged them into the download. There's a detailed list of changed files/fixes in the change log for the mod.

Thanks to all my early testers today :D

Awesome MOD, thanks for all your efforts.

Did I miss something in the install instructions? What do I need to put into the index_body.html to have the calendar week or next 5 events displayed?

Sorry if this is obvious but I can be dense sometimes.

In install.xml you'll see instructions for editing index.php.
In templates/prosilver.xml you'll see instructions for editing index_body.html.

After you've installed all of the changes you'll neeed to enter the ACP and look at the "Board Configuration" section of the "General" tab and select "Calendar Settings".

From "Calendar Settings" you need to specify whether or not you want to display the current week on the index page. If you don't show the current week on the index page, you can show the next upcoming events, and you'll need to specify how many events you want to have displayed on the index. Here's a screenshot of the settings page: http://calendar.hypermutt.net/screensho ... ttings.jpg

Can I just say OMG thank you :mrgreen:
This is perfect for me to post gigs/live shows on my site - installed it perfectly and runs great with my probl@ck theme.
The option to post to certain groups is excellent and setting permissions took me 5 mins.
For anyone having an issue getting the admin option to show in the ACP after installing the modules, purge the cache then CTRL+F5 your browser ;)
Excellent work alightner - best of luck on a release :D

There should be a way to change the time format on the day events. I need this to be like 13:00 or 18:00 instead 1pm and 6 pm.

But everything works fine for me now, great work girl :*) :D

You can change that in your forum settings... it uses the same date display format as the format used for timestamping posts, replies etc.

I don't know but it doesn't work. My board settings and my personal settings are set to 24 hours time but still calendar shows the time with am and pm

Interesting - I'll play around with it which view are you looking at (event, day, week, month)?

I just changed my user settings in my UCP to use military time and it's working for me.

I have an event now displaying like this:
test 2-3pm
08 Jan 2008, 14:00 To 08 Jan 2008, 15:00

Note "test 2-3pm" was the subject for my test event.
In the UCP under "board preferences" for "My date format" I chose: "07 Jan 2008, 04:14"

If I change that setting to: "Mon Jan 07, 2008 4:14 am" the calendar display changes to:
test 2-3pm
Tue Jan 08, 2008 2:00 pm To Tue Jan 08, 2008 3:00 pm

Looks like it works fine for me :)

Go to "calendar" and clock on the clock icon for some day. You will se the hours table but the time is always the same: from 12am to 11pm
