That worked...

For anyone else that may have this problem (older v. of mysql):

You must comment out lines 185 AND 186 of bridge/phpbb3.inc.php

I tested my login, and "it" bridged properly.

Thank you all for your awesome help! You guys are much more helpful than the people at the coppermine gallery support forum.

I agree. Although I respect their hard work, they can be pretty rude at times.

Hiya

I have installed this (and read through all the thread) but I can't get to the settings inside PHPBB.

When I click on the permissions for the admin - nothing there refers to the CMG at all. The database is ok - no name changes - and the fields are there that should be.

Any ideas ?

David

Hi David,

have you executed the SQL-Statements in phpmyadmin?

Please check whether the entries are in your database, i.e. you should get two records if you execute the following statement in phpmyadmin:

SELECT * FROM phpbb_acl_options WHERE auth_option LIKE '%cpgadmin';

Can you please try that and report the result?

Have you deleted the file in your cache folder? I.e.: /phpBB3/cache/data_acl_options.php

Regards
Stephen

If there no coppermine style like your forum style, you need to edir/make one.
there not magic solutions for that.. but you can add header and footer in
coppermine admin option.

Hi,
did you do the lang file change? You had a phpBB3 dir in your bridge pack to upload to the corresponding path. It should replace your original phpBB3 {forum_dir}/language/en/acp/permissions_phpbb.php file.

If you use different language pack, you should look into the file with an UTF8-capable text editor (like Notepad, and unlike Word - I prefer Notepad++) and find the sections headed with the word "Stephen". Then allocate the right place in your language's similar file and insert it, then translate if you have to. Then save and upload, of course :) ;) You have to find two sections (one for admin rights, one for mod rights). Easy but essential. :)

[changed!] I had admin right problems with Coppermine bridge - when I had it on, the rights set in phpBB3 had no effect on CPG. The mistake was mine: I did not set the admin rights, just mod rights. Somehow overlooked... And spent six hours with troubleshoot :) 'xcuse me for messing!

Hi,
first of all I want to thank you for this great mod. I've just installed it and I hope it will work fine.

But I've one question - when I log out from cpg I am redirected to the phpbb3 logout page and then to phpbb3 index.
Is there any posibility to change this? (to show cpg index after log out)

Thanks!

Hi,

yes there is ;)

I got this hint from Mike who has had the same issue:

1. Open the file ucp.php (located in the main directory of your phpBB3 installation

2. Around line 96 look for
meta_refresh(3, append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}index.$phpEx"));

3. Replace that command by
meta_refresh(3, append_sid(request_var('redirect', "{$phpbb_root_path}index.$phpEx")));

Then you will be redirected to the gallery after logout, not to the forum index.

So has anyone had an success integrating the prosilver or similar theme\template into coppermine? I am interested in how or ideas around it.

Thank you,

Yes, we are currently working on that.

If you want to see the results achieved until now, go to
http://www.team-andro.eu/phpBB3

Login as
user: franzi
password: franzi

You will see a modified prosilver - then go to
http://www.team-andro.eu/coppermine

But don't do that with IE6 (we are still working on the css), please use a modern browser.
