First i uploaded the folder "root" via FTP incl the install folder, then i edited the files mentioned in the "install.xml" and changed the permission to 755 and ran http://www.dk/root/arcade_install/install.php
Delete the root folder from you site. It appears you uploaded it a bit wrong. You are suppose to unpload the files in the root folder. Instead of uploading the actual folder, just upload the files inside to the forum root.

Did you make sure you were logged in as head administrator at the time?

Before typing http://www.dk/root/arcade_install/install.php in your browser, make sure you are logged into your forum as an administrator

fimo i see you are using a dk url as an example if you are danish go to igames.origon.dk and ask in danish over there and i'll try to explain how it work's.

Before typing http://www.dk/root/arcade_install/install.php in your browser, make sure you are logged into your forum as an administrator

Now i am i little bit confused...
I will try to start all over again with the copy of files to my phpbb3 board.
Is this the right way to do it?
1) install all the files from arcade root into the folders via ftp
(what about the actual root folder + copied files, where shall they be put ?)
2) edit these files according to the help file:
Files to Edit
index.php,
viewonline.php,
includes/functions.php
3) add / edit styles/prosilver/template/overall_header.html
according to the file
4) and what then ?
log into my board first as administrator ?
and then run "http://www.dk/root/arcade_install/install.php" from a new window or the same as
im looking at phpbb3 board ?

What's your phpbb3 root? its not http://www.yourdomaine.dk/root/ is it?

my phpbb3 root is http://spirit.dk/
and now i have installed everything over agian from start, edited the files,
now i have logged into my ACP, system,Module management and i can click this ACP -> .MODs
found under settings "arcade settings" eg add games, manage arcade and so in..
but how do i go on from here ?

i have done that now, so i can see a arcader icon on my board but i dont know how to install the arcade inside my acp, all i have done now is to upload all files which was inside "root folder" from arcade zip file
abut i dont have the actual "arcade root folder" uploaded via ftp, just the files inside, is that right ?
but how do i "tell via acp" that i want to install the arcade files that i have edited / uploaded via ftp ?

Log in to your board with admin permission and then type http://www.yourdomaine.dk/arcade_install/install.php and do a fresh install.

Thank you for your quick answer, well when i logged in as an administrator, im on the "ACP Administration Control" tab "general", this is what i have in my browser:
http://mydomaine.dk/adm/index.php?sid=6 ... 7ff05f3045

Then i copy this to my webbrowser:
http://www.mydomaine.dk/arcade_install/install.php
and this is the error i get:
You are not authorized to use this script.

There isn't a "Download Games" module.
