### Re: [Beta] User Reputation Points 0.1.0a

ghettowboy wrote:do you find it giving points? cause i don't seem to be able to do so... actual points remain at zero.. unless added manually through acp.. i'm wondering if it has to do with that rep power stuff..?
Yes the rep power is what decides how many points are given... ie. i have my rep power set at 5 and it gives between 2 and 4 points each time rep is given.

Im still trying to find out why it gives between 2-4 when i have it set at 5 though ? perhaps it goes on how much rep the user giving it has or something but i dont know.
you have set rep power not as 5 but as a maximum of 5, rep power is based on days as a member and number of posts, so depends on the poster... but in your case can be no more than 5.

thats the way i thought it was

thanks, i figured the maximum was 5 and it wouldnt give 5 each post, perhaps i didnt explain it properly..... but i knew it must be based on something for the amount of points it acutally gives like rep of the user who gives or days as a member etc ... i just couldnt get an answer on what until now

Just installed it on a test board this afternoon and I have to say i'm impressed. Great work on this
1 question about your 'Future Release' list, regarding - User reputation point management.
IS this going to be along the lines of vB's Rep manager -

If not, can I place a sneaky feature request

Awesome! My users have been clamoring for this. I installed it with no difficulty, except for the 'Adding the Module' bit. I found the answer for that in this thread, and all appears to work just fine!

Thank you very much!
