Could you explain, please, what were the couple of things you did in order to have this stuff working?

Hello, i installed it and i didn't get any error. I purged the cache but when i tried to create topic i didn't see description or something like that to tip a description for the topic. So there is an option to activate to makes the mod work ? and who ?

This mod worked perfectly for me, no problems at all and no alterations needed. Maybe you forgot to do the SQL?

Hello, i don't think i forget something. I did SQL and i remember it gives me request success. But it's possible that there is an other mod who disable this mod to get work.

The How to who explain how to install mod is not complete at all, because ti see the label to add a description, you must add code in posting_editor.html but this step is not described in the install instructions. So i am sure there is something hiding to get the mod work properly. Help please.

Yes it is. There are separate instructions for both subsilver2 and prosilver in the "templates" folder that's included in the download.

I'm getting the following error after submitting an edited post with topic description.

UPDATE phpbb_topics SET forum_id = 2, icon_id = 0, topic_approved = '1', topic_title = 'Test Topic', topic_description = 'This is a test!', topic_first_poster_name = 'JeRicHoOL', topic_type = 0, topic_time_limit = 0, poll_title = '', poll_start = 0, poll_max_options = 1, poll_length = 0, poll_vote_change = 0, topic_attachment = 0 WHERE topic_id = 20

BACKTRACE

FILE: includes/functions_posting.php
LINE: 2038

I hope someone can tell me how to fix this problem. I already ran the SQL commands.

It loooks like you have made the correct database changed. but your include files(my guess) have not been made avare of it. Check your edits and make sure everything is correct. If that doesnt work. Start over and try this on a fresh non-live 304.

For those who use NV recent topics, Im making a addon for this mod so it works with the REcent topic mod. stick around

Works good without any restrictions on a heavy modded 3.04 board.

I edited the files correctly. Just re-checked the the "/includes" files. Why doesn't it work? My style is proSilver based just in case that matters. I hope someone knows how to fix that. Maybe the mod author?! ;)
