Heya again

. Thanks alot for this great portal. I fixed the style thingy and now the site is as I want it to be, except for one thing. I think the article system in ktvm is nice, but I still think I would like to have the news as posts in a News-forum. And then a block on the index site extracting the news from the posts.
Is it possible to add such a block?

If you don't want to include it your own release, how can I do it myself? I want it to be like the news block in alphaPortal. Is it possible to use the block in there and put it into ktvm, or do you have to write a new one from scratch?

Basically the block should only do the following:

Show the title, author, time and post text
The title should be a link to the full forum post
Be able to configure how many characters max to be shown in the block from the post text (and not breaking bbcode)
A text saying "x comments" with a button that links to the forum post (so that you can read the comments and post your own). x is the value of replies to the topic.

I guess it's alot to ask for but I would be forever grateful if nedka/someone else helped me

can someone help me.
i have installed the mod - i went to click the install file and it came up saying that many "express" files were already on the database.
I dropped these from my database and managed to install ok (besides the annoying functions error i keep getting every time i install something).
I removed the install file as requested and i keep getting this error now

"SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Table 'phpbb3.EXPRESS_CATEGORIES_TABLE' doesn't exist [1146]

An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists."

I repaired my database and i do have a file called express_catagories but i dont have one called express_catagories_table and no other info regarding this was present in the instructions.

Can someone advise me what to do

Couple more question about this mod before I go ahead installing. First off, can this mod be easily enabled/disabled on the board? For example if I install the mod and end up wanting to take the portal addition away without uninstalling the mod completely will this work out?

Excellent mod! I've been looking at a few different CMS like Joomla with phpBB 3 integration. Now a portal that does this! Thanks a lot

Only thing I could want more is a download page in the portal

SQL

For this error your table is not being found in the database. Have you inserted it to the correct spot?

when I downloaded files from KTVM Portal, i didn't see the BD from it

Does this mod allows to upload custom images during writing articles?

And it there are or maby it's planned to add ability for user to add articles for themselves which will be than moderated and placed on the portal?

As far as I am concerned the DB is created for you once you run through the file ktvm_install.php on your site. Have you successfully run through the install file, deleted ktvm_install.php after installation, and deleted the cache to the forum?

I can add the ACP modules but, they dont show up. It did this to me on my test install
till i cleared the cache, but when i installed to my live site it and cleared the cache, still not showing.
