Is this for game reviews only or could it be used for somthing completly different?

How stable is it also?

It can be used for any sort of topic, you define which type of field to add and how it will look, its order in the review, and how to handle it after submitting the form, so you can customize the final review text.

You can read about its stability and status on the previous page, here.

I'm lately having a bit of spare time to spend working on this, but not too much... at least I've half finished rewriting how to choose a field parent. If you want the latest version (since I accidentally posted an older one with some bugs), drop me a pm.

Finished adding proper selection of fields parent.

Also added the code for changing the parent of sections and fields once created, along with some other cases.

I'll try to add the corresponding language entries for the ACP tomorrow.

Do you have a newer version available for download? I have it on a test board, just didn't get a chance to play with it, now noticed your recent posts. Would really like to get a good copy...Thanks

I'm not at home, I'll post the latest version once I return in some days. I've made several improvements since my last post.

Uploaded my latest version here.

Improvements over the list of missing things posted here:
  • Every review "component" can be updated with no problems.
  • Fields parent are now properly chosen with just a single combo box.
  • Added language entries to the ACP.
  • Now possible to get the category and type that will hold the resulting form from a field value.
  • The corresponding cache entries are cleaned when adding/updating/deleting form items.
  • Some other minor improvements.
Due to work I may not be able to work on this for the next days, but it won't be for too long (I hope). Next thing will be to improve the template editor. I'm also planing to change some parts of the MOD, so forms can be easily plugged into other MODs, and I may add options to make it work without installing the Mini KB.

Also added rating and commenting support to the KB MOD, if you want the changes contact me.

At the moment the mod does not work when using another database prefix than 'phpbb_'. Can you change this? I got it working after changing some files, but it would be better not to hardcode the prefix in the files.

Well, it's the first thing I mentioned when released the first version:
As I said it is not production quality, so a lot of things are missing for making it a proper release: installer, it uses phpbb_ as the prefix of databases, etc.
It's on my todo list, although I've never considered it to be top priority... the change is easy, but as I said, I'm right now busy with my job... I expect to release a new version over this weekend, so I'll change this as well.

NP at all.

Decided to take some spare time yesterday to change it, a new version will be available this weekend.

EDIT: Decided to create a dedicated thread for the MOD:

http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... &t=1574105

Please, post any new message related to it there.
