You can't change license. It is based on GPL2 code, so it must be GPL2.

Nice style! :D

The license is still GPL2.

Yes, there is nothing wrong with registering in order to download a style. We do not force you to download the style, so if you do not wish to use the style then you are not forced to register.

Which means you can't limit distribution, so all "you can" and "you can't" in your first post are irrelevant.

Please read this: viewtopic.php?f=185&t=545785

It's actually just what I was thinking

For example, if I am a user I like the style I want to download
first constriction i need to register
second constriction I have to make 10 posts
If this is not constriction, I do not know how you intend to constriction.

But I am no one, I do not care style
I just said to make people think. ;)

I will remove the animated gif.

Regarding the "guidelines" that is all they are. "Guidelines". Not set in stone "rules"

The 10 post is actually suppose to go for our Free IPB and XenForo themes. Not this theme. Will be fixed. However registration is remaining intact.

Regarding the GPL2,
"Which means you can't limit distribution, so all "you can" and "you can't" in your first post are irrelevant."

Actually yes I can.
Split Licensing. GPL Elements in the code (the code phpbb wrote) will be GPL, and the stuff we make (css, html and images) will be under our license. This is allowed, and legal.

You can't change license, but split licensing (so, protecting your work against the GPL licensed code) is fine
You can't 'change' a license from GPL to your own license, but you can use split licensing to protect your own assets

No, those are set in stone rules.
As for GPL, code is based on GPL code so you cannot change its license. If you rewrote all CSS then it would be possible.

Locked because author refuses to follow rules.

If you wish this topic to be unlocked, please make download not require registration, do not try to enforce additional license requirements that are not compatible with GPLv2 and then PM any styles team member.

edit: moved to styles trash can
