What is the process for considering a style abandoned?

I want SOMEONE to continue this!

This style is in the hands of the author, it his style and unless he gives permission for someone else to take over the development it shall remain his. The author has already stated that he has been busy lately. Again, please do not flood this topic with irrelevant content.

Yeah, I've been pretty busy lately, now I got my site working pretty well, I'll work on this one in the upcoming week. So keep updated to the phpBB Stylers Website and you'll see it very soon...

Hey guys - I was wondering if anyone had made any progress on this?

I assume that you would have announced it here if you had released it, but I was also wondering if anyone would want to upload a 'beta' version that I could test out and help with development on. I have html/css/php knowledge (No specific phpbb theme experience)

I was planning on creating my own phpbb3 port for this theme, but I found this thread and I hope that I can continue on someone else's rather than starting from scratch.

No more bumping this topic with "how much longer" posts as it is filling this release topic up with pointless information. Any more will be removed, I am sure the author is doing all he can to get this released in the quickest possible time frame.

And before I am even questioned, I would like to defend myself by saying that I am requesting a theme that someone has started to try and finish it up for them, not asking how much longer it will be, as I see there may be no hope of seeing a finished one.

We've been teased for over a year now, and still no release, or even some news. I can fully understand people getting anxious about this.
