In bbcode.html, find:

Code: Select all

{L_CODE}:

Replace with:

Code: Select all

{L_CODE}: {L_SELECT_ALL_CODE}

In overall_header.html, find:

Code: Select all

	//

Before, add;

Code: Select all

function selectCode(a)
{
	// Get ID of code block
	var e = a.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('CODE')[0];

	// Not IE
	if (window.getSelection)
	{
 var s = window.getSelection();
 // Safari
 if (s.setBaseAndExtent)
 {
 s.setBaseAndExtent(e, 0, e, e.innerText.length - 1);
 }
 // Firefox and Opera
 else
 {
 var r = document.createRange();
 r.selectNodeContents(e);
 s.removeAllRanges();
 s.addRange(r);
 }
	}
	// Some older browsers
	else if (document.getSelection)
	{
 var s = document.getSelection();
 var r = document.createRange();
 r.selectNodeContents(e);
 s.removeAllRanges();
 s.addRange(r);
	}
	// IE
	else if (document.selection)
	{
 var r = document.body.createTextRange();
 r.moveToElementText(e);
 r.select();
	}
}

need a change in the posting button "view more smilies".

When you hit the button "view more smilies" it loads the smilies in the current window instead of a new window!!! you must hit the "back" button on your browser to get back to your post and then you will have lost everything that you have typed. This glitch is particular to extremedark red. When I switch to pro silver and hit the "view more smilies" button in the posting window - the smilies load fine in a new window.

How can I change the "view more smilies" button in the posting window so the smilies open in a new window?

using phpbb3.01

Hi, can anybody tell me how to change the color of the forum names and the topic titles. They are red now but I would prefer grey. Please see here for example:

Thanks

Open stylesheet.css

search:

Code: Select all

a:link, a:active, a:visited {
	color: #C00;
	text-decoration: none;
}
inline find:

color: #C00;

change the C00 to a other colour.

Works fine on my end. Can you post a link to your board and provide a test account?

Extreme Dark Red style: links

Post by RLogue »

Hey everyone! I'm using GHS' Extreme Dark Red style for my boards here: Houses of the Blooded

Under the banner at the top is this row of links: Board index • FAQ • Search • Members • 0 new messages • User Control Panel • Logout

I want to add 3 links to this row...

One will go back to my site's main page: http://www.housesoftheblooded.net

one will go to my site's blog page: http://www.housesoftheblooded.net/blog

and one will go to the forums' chat rooms: http://www.housesoftheblooded.net/forums/chat

I don't know html, but I think I've found the right file to alter (overall_header.html). Can someone help me with the coding to put these links in place?

Thanks!
Richard

Open the file "overall_header.html" and find this part of the code:

Code: Select all

 {L_INDEX}
 • {L_FAQ}
 • {L_SEARCH}
 • {L_MEMBERLIST}

 • {L_RESTORE_PERMISSIONS}
 • {L_REGISTER}
 • {PRIVATE_MESSAGE_INFO}, {PRIVATE_MESSAGE_INFO_UNREAD}
 • {L_PROFILE}

 • {L_LOGIN_LOGOUT}

Change to something like this and adjust accordingly:

Code: Select all

 Main
 Blog
 Chat
 {L_INDEX}
 • {L_FAQ}
 • {L_SEARCH}
 • {L_MEMBERLIST}

 • {L_RESTORE_PERMISSIONS}
 • {L_REGISTER}
 • {PRIVATE_MESSAGE_INFO}, {PRIVATE_MESSAGE_INFO_UNREAD}
 • {L_PROFILE}

 • {L_LOGIN_LOGOUT}
