I don't disagree that there should possibly be one but, in my opinion, that is better suited as an extension.

Agreed, too much bloat otherwise.

OP: CMS?

Yes, it is, but it's the only one.
What will happen if the only one stop? Do you remember Jfusion? ;)

I can agree with you, but official extension with a "live insurance" by phpBB ;)

I don’t believe phpBB should have anything to do with bridges. They should come from the third parties.

exactly. how would phpbb decide which other software it should make a bridge for? how many should they do? what happens if one of those softwares makes changes that makes the bridge no longer work? who is going to support all of that?

should be up to those coders for joomla to create a phpbb bridge or a smf bridge etc. if their users want one.

There is some validity in that argument but it all depends on which way you are bridging - phpBB -> Joomla or Joomla -> phpBB

If you post multiple times in less than six hours it’s classed as bumping. If you want to reply to a specific question/answer within that six hour period and no-one has replied to your last post simply edit your last post using quotes.

Yes, and all three should have been one post.
