This could be done with the cron script and database entry, yes? CLI for those that can use it. Perhaps standalone script for offline on local computer.
I'm at the point now where I have 120K files in the attachment folder and no it's not a porn site.
I have to do something, I'm considering just editing the script to point it to files-archives for attachment ID < XXXXXX
