sorry, but I can't believe anyone is using wikipedia as a valid reference for anything. It could be valid for any given bit of data but in my opinion, the chance that is it not, far out weighs the chance that it is.

To be honest I find Wikipedia a more reliable source of information than the opinion of random people on an Internet forum. I think we all can agree on that.

Wikipedia is bad was just a meme from the early 2000s that teachers propagated because the internet was easier than the thesaurus they had to read.

Besides that, does OP just want ajax everywhere? Ajax forum home, ajax index, ajax live stats, ajax like facebook pm system? What?

Let's say those people (Wikipedia contributors) are used to link to true resources their articles.
And nowadays such articles are subject of serious revisions.

BTW, I downvoted this idea. I got my reasons. :)

Excuse me if this sounds thick, but in a realtime forum am i right in thinking...
  • You click on a topic list and there are for example - #60 there in order by last reply.
  • So you're reading down that list of topics looking for the topic you're interested in, you're at about #42.
  • Someone replies to topic #45.
  • Topic #45 has now moved to #1 - the top of the list.
So if #45 was a topic you were interest in, you won't see it because it's now at the top of the page ?
