Improvement of automatic load shedding

Post by Bryx »

Hi the community,

I was wondering how we could get an improvement to the automatic load shedding of one of the forums. I couldn't find a way to choose one of the forums I had created to store automatically offloaded topics.

I therefore propose the addition of a feature that allows the choice of a forum as a place to store the load shedding. This would either be an option in the forum configuration or in each sub-forum. For example, it is useful for support forums to choose to offload the topics of a forum in the archive section of the forum in question.

In summary:
- a general parameter of the load shedding of the forum
- a local setting for the forum load shedding (category, forums)

Here you go. Thank you.

How will moving topics/posts from one forum to another impact on "load"?

I can think of a few situations in which where the expression is used (although "shedding" wouldn't be considered very amical) ;)
We should embrace problems, without which there wouldn't be any solutions.
