You said you'd like to upload a video to a site didn't you?
Would you be a bit more specific with what you'd like to achieve? ;)

No I meant how to get a html replacement of videos that are not Youtube or google beacuse they're already exist, I want to make videos of this site (http://moddb.com/videos/) postable on my site.

Sorry if I was less specific :)

Are you refering to either:

1: having the videos hosted on your site, & a BBCode to enable posting into the forum.
2: hosted on other external sites, using a BBCode to enable posting into the forum.

Would you like to embed exactly that video in your forum post?

Sorry mate but I am really not sure what you want exactly :?
However, this is how I embed flash videos from my server to the forum posts:

BBCode:

Code: Select all

[flv]{URL}[/flv]
HTML replacement:

Code: Select all

<embed
src="{URL}"
width="640"
height="360"
allowfullscreen="true"/>
I hope it'll help but if not please be more specific about your aim and I'm gonna try to help.
Regeards ;)

The BBCode I have on my site works perfect, & if you want to keep your site as valid XHTML Strict, then try this.

BBCode Usage:

Code: Select all

[video]{URL}[/video]
HTML Replacement:

Code: Select all

<object id="VideoPlayback" data="{URL}" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="{URL}" /><param name="wmode" value="opaque" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" /></object>
Help Line:

Code: Select all

Video URL: [video]http://www.video-website.com/watch/video-name.mp4[/video]
Settings:
Display on posting page: Yes

XHTML Strict doesn't like the <embed> tag, however using <object> along with <param> seems to do the job nicely.

Not all video sites need or use the id="VideoPlayback", if the site requires a different value, or doesn't use it, then you can either edit or delete the id="VideoPlayback" section completely. :D

if possible.
It's definitely possible -- see my table tags.

I'd be shocked if some haven't been posted in this topic already.

You can't find mine here. I thought there would be other solutions. Mine basically just replicate the HTML Table, Table Row (TR) and Table Cell (TD) tags.

Give me 5 mins to test the code on my board & I'll update this post with a working example for you.

1 important thing though, do you want the table/rows/cells to have a border around them?

Is it difficult to make an example with/without borders ?
