Could i be directed to the Button links install info
I've added a post to the topic linked to in my previous post that shows how to do it. You will have to register at my test board to see the code, though (CODE tags are hidden from guests).

Custom BBcode for the above needed please
How does this VeeHD BBCode look? It's pretty complicated if you want everything in the embed code, though.

However, are you sure that this isn't a pirate site? I doubt that "MovieManiak420" has permission to upload "Heat". (They do say they respect the DMCA, but anybody can say that.)

Cinevault.com:

BBCode usage:

Code: Select all

[cinevault]{SIMPLETEXT}[/cinevault]
HTML Replacement:

Code: Select all

<iframe width="550" height="400" src="http://cinevault.com/embed-{SIMPLETEXT}.swf" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
The {SIMPLETEXT} can be found in between 'film_' & '.html' in the url:

Hello,

I need help with adding up a custom bbcode, I browsed some pages of this topic but no post explained to me what I need to know.

On wikipedia you have <!--type text here that doesn't appear on the read page but does on the edit page thus in the editor-->

Now I'm looking for the same thing but then for phpbb?

That you are able to add some text or message to a post whithout that anyone can see it until they quote the post or edit the post. Then they see it like:

[hide]Here some text [/hide]

It doesn't work maybe because I used instead of TEXT : SIMPLETEXT

It said it was a security issue if I would use TEXT,

Should I then just add it like you guy's give it, ignoring the warning?

TEXT is only a security issue if used inside of html tags. I don't believe this qualifies.
however , it does work with simpletext just like it does with text.
show us exactly what you have put in for all the boxes in the bbcode area.

The worry with {TEXT} inside of an HTML tag is that you can somehow "break out" of the tag. I don't know that I've seen an actual example proving that, though. Supposedly, you can't break out of {TEXT} in

Code: Select all

[span style="font-weight:400"]]{TEXT}[/span]
but you can break out of {TEXT1} in

Code: Select all

[span style="{TEXT1}"]{TEXT2}[/span]
Presumably you have the same worries with HTML comments, but maybe the warning is a little bit too strict.

I didn't do any of the above but just removed the empty space betwen:
<!-- {TEXT} -->

Of the code I added that was suggested in some posts above. I had the same issue once editing mediawiki leaving empty space between the text and the --.

Solved this is now.

Thanks for all your great support though! :D
