Is that a question, or are you stating that's what happens? If properly done, that shouldn't happen.
Question sorry,
ive done it on all these bbcodes and its happening. The Windows Media player worked a treat, but the others keep showing link add and tags,

Can you take a screenshot of what you're entering in the administration panel for a code that's doing this?

What version of phpBB3 are you running? Do you have any MODs installed?

That's not the same problem ;)

Although I'll ask you to do the same thing:

You should put full URL try like this

Code: Select all

[youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-8nkkOA_AM[/youtube]
it work with me together with www. not only http:// or just www. needs to be like you see in code above full URL. ;)

Here's a simple strikethrough bbcode I use:

BBcode:

Code: Select all

[strike]{text}[/strike]
Html replacement:

Code: Select all

<div style="text-decoration:line-through; display:inline;">{text}</div>

I really am hoping someone would post it. I don't know how to make it myself. Am I supposed to be embarrased now? :|

Is it possible to make a custom BBCode that will display an image as a hyperlink AND resize the image at the same time? For example, the image in the code below is 537px wide, but my forum is only set up to allow 500px max width, and I DO NOT want to upload it as an attachment and I DO NOT want to just post a link to it.

Could I make a BBCode that will replace the following HTML? :

Code: Select all

<a href="http://nougatpowered.net/monster.jpg" width="500"><img src="http://nougatpowered.net/monster.jpg"></a>
I tried a few things but could not get it to do what I want. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

This is for posting song from radioblogclub.com

BBCODE:

Code: Select all

[radioblog]<embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://stat.radioblogclub.com/radio.blog/skins/mini/player.swf" allowScriptAccess="always" width="180" height="23" bgcolor="#ECECEC" id="radioblog_player_1" FlashVars="id=1&filepath=http://www.radioblogclub.com/listen?u={TEXT}&cover=1&crossfader=1&replay=1&colors=body:#ECECEC;border:#BBBBBB;button:#999999;player_text:#999999;playlist_text:#666666;new_tracks:#000000;"></embed>[/radioblog]
HTML:

Code: Select all

<embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://stat.radioblogclub.com/radio.blog/skins/mini/player.swf" allowScriptAccess="always" width="180" height="23" bgcolor="#ECECEC" id="radioblog_player_1" FlashVars="id=1&filepath=http://www.radioblogclub.com/listen?u={TEXT}&cover=1&crossfader=1&replay=1&colors=body:#ECECEC;border:#BBBBBB;button:#999999;player_text:#999999;playlist_text:#666666;new_tracks:#000000;"></embed>
Now pickup a song, copy&paste the code to use it in a BLOG ( right side ). and use it like this

Code: Select all

[radioblog]<embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://stat.radioblogclub.com/radio.blog/skins/mini/player.swf" allowScriptAccess="always" width="180" height="23" bgcolor="#ECECEC" id="radioblog_player_0" FlashVars="id=0&filepath=http://www.radioblogclub.com/listen?u=.8yck5WdvN3LyZmLlVmcm5SYrNXdyVHb/Slayer%2520-%2520Raining%2520Blood.rbs&colors=body:#ECECEC;border:#BBBBBB;button:#999999;player_text:#999999;playlist_text:#999999;"></embed>[/radioblog]
I hope you like it, this is my first bbcode. :?

Yes I got this to work though I didn't bother to put in the html to resize it:

bb code:

Code: Select all

[imgurl={text1}]{text2}[/imgurl]
html replacement:

Code: Select all

<a href="{text1}"><img src="{text2}" /></a>

Is it possible to use a bbcode to create multiple lines in a topic?

ex. some of my topics always start with date, project, details then a link formatted as such...

Code: Select all

[b]Date:[/b]
[b]Project:[/b]
[b]Details:[/b]

[url]Link[/url]
I would like all this to be set up when i hit the [files] button right up there with the rest, is the possible?
Or would this be better done by some sort of a template? but i wouldn't know where to start. please help.
So many great ideas, too few programmers.
