hello, is it possible to create a BBCode that generates a table?

like if i wanted to post some information in a table form manner, i can't think of any way of doing it aside from maybe using a fixed width font and manually adjusting the characters.

also, the list item [*] doesn't work correctly. it misses the ths "slash" for the end tag.

It isn't supposed to have a slash - see http://www.phpbb.com/community/faq.php?mode=bbcode#f30

Code: Select all

[list]
[*]one
[*]two
[*]three
[/list]

hey thanks.
i thought the list item still needs a slash since that is what the tooltip says. :) it also works fine with the "/", hehehe. but yours is indeed the better way.
clarification very much appreciated.

now, the table BBCode is the only thing left. :D

I have inserted the BBcode for the tapes of GoogleVideo, but they don't work (with Id, with url it doesn't work). The tape is visualized but it doesn't depart and the shermo stays black. Someone that he knows me to say the why?

It's not a pair tag, you don't write the ending, it closes itself automatically when it reaches another list item or the end of the list.

Is there any option to create a BBCode like the Table MOD in phpBB 2.0.xx?
Or where can I allow several HTML Tags in posts??

can you expound more on that?

right now i'm still on RC3, a table mod will surely be a good reason to update to RC5.

im working on making a [paypal] bbcode.

we would use it to post payment links for Rolling Road Days and Event attendance. theres an option for the user to input there username:

Code: Select all

<input type="text" name="os0" maxlength="200" value="">
how can i captcha the users username and insert it into the value="" field automatically?

on the old phpBB2 forum we had a [you] [me] mod so i could just insert value="[you]" but i had to allow the html tags in admin.

many thanks for any help.
How did you come out? I'm trying to do a [paypal] BBCode.

Hello!

I'm french, so excuse my bad vocabulary :o

I've found a new spoiler...

Code: Select all

[spoiler]{TEXT}[/spoiler]

Code: Select all

</span>
<div class="spoiltitle"><input class="spoilbtn" type="button" value="Montrer le spoiler" onClick="javascript:if (this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display != '') { this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = ''; this.innerText = ''; this.value = 'Cacher'; } else { this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = 'none'; this.innerText = ''; this.value = 'Montrer'; }" onfocus="this.blur();">
</div>
<div class="spoildiv">
<div style="display: none;">{TEXT}</div>
</div>
<span class="postbody">
Translate the words "Montrer" and "Cacher" in english, because i don't know the translation :o

Have a fun!
