Great. Our tech guy is setting up a test install this weekend. I will unleash a bunch of RPG geeks on it and report back.

Quick question,

We currently use a port of the old Dicemod in 3.2. Would this new roller be able to retain the old rolls?

Such converter is not included in the basic version proposed here. It should be written.
Our dice can be used simultaneously with the old ones, I have not tested it but I am almost sure.

We can work with the old rolls.

Is there a syntax for choosing the higher of two rolls? For example roll 1d8! and 1d6! and display whichever is higher?

I meant higher in result but I see what you are saying,

Can the rolls and discrete then (i.e. not added together) like show the result of 1d8! and 1d6!

You can roll them seperately, once posted they are distinct.

There are also 3 Forum Moderator permissions out of 12.

okay, I am testing this with VV.

This is a result of one of the testing we are doing:
[5, 5, 6!, 2, 3, 3] = 24
5d6!: [ 5 5 6 2 3 3] = 24
But I really don't need it to have it listed twice. I just need 1 or the other. Where would I go to edit that in the posting of the rolls?

And at some point, would it be possible to give the ability to break all those portions up into different user controlled functionality? So I can have it look like this:

5d6 = 21

or

5d6 [5, 5, 6, 2, 3]

or

5d6 [5, 5, 6, 2, 3] = 21

You need it to see where (in this case) the exploded dice is (see !).
In fact if you roll the same using a skill you will see what I mean just hovering the exploded dice (tooltips).

Only confirmed bugs BTW will be taken into consideration.
Custom requests which can't probably fit into the general audience's needs will not, instead.

That's what tests are for. :)

I did find a bug as we are testing...

The Dice Skins are funky.

When forcing the dice skins, it doesn't seem to work for Text or any of the other styles. But the UCP does factor into it, and controls the format of the dice.

You can force the dice skins on a per forum basis (ACP / Forums / edit forum), did you?
