Any pointers what I can look for? This mod is perfect for a For Sale / Wanted section I am working on, but I really need it to force a selection.

Go inside your ACP -> Forum settings and scroll their down to:
Topic attributes settings
Default attribute of the forum:
The selected attribute will be applied when a new topic is created, whatever the user permissions.

Copy attributes permissions from:
When created, the forum will have the same attributes permissions as the one you selected. If no forum is selected, attributes will not be displayed while their permissions will not have been defined.

Force users to apply an attribute to their topic:
If enabled, users will have to select an attribute for their topic in that forum.

Yes, that is selected, but I can still post without having to select a title

POST A NEW TOPIC

You must select an attribute!

It works for me. Just tested inside my forum. Be sure:

Default attribute of the forum:
The selected attribute will be applied when a new topic is created, whatever the user permissions.

Is empty and no standart attribute is selected. YOr you maybe decide every topic inside the forum is getting this special added by itself. I have posted as admin, not sure if users need permissions to be changed.

I made sure that is unselected. I wondered if it was a conflict with the style I use (we_universal), but even with prosilver I can still post without selecting a title.

Quick question if you don't mind, I couldn't find a reference to this (I'll test it soon myself) - are the added tags in any way searchable?

Thanks!

I was just thinking a little further - would it even be possible to add a sorting function that would sort a forum by tags, just like you can by post time or author?
