I thought this extension was showing my posts in the admin area, but it was showing them because I am the admin. I logged out and as a guest the admin area posts don't show up and my test account didn't show the admin area post's either.

But like was stated you can change the forum permissions. I did this for off topic sub forums from showing up in recent topics.

I love this mod. Thanks for the work!

I have a couple of requests:
1. Can we have an option in the ACP to toggle between showing at the top or bottom of the page
2. Can pagination be a bit more granular? For example, I'd like only to query the 25 most recent topics, but only want to show say 5 at a time. The user can then browse through the 5 pages rather than having all 25 topics displayed on the index page at once.

Not at the moment. Perhaps in a future version.

That's exactly what the current settings do. Just set "Number of topics to display" to 5, and "Recent topics pages" to 5.

Really really good extension :D thank you !

But, a little idea to make it better : possibility to exclude forums to appears in Recent, instead of topics?

Because, if we don't want topics from a special forum in recents topics, we have to write all the ID of all the topics :/

Thank you for your extension :D

Hi floxx

Both is possible. Go to ACP > Forums, then edit your forum you want to exlude and set "Display on recent topics:" to "No".
May the backup be with you. Always.

@floxx

Hint: some Ext's added new options to the rights management or settings outside the Ext settings. So some settings you can find on other places in ACP.

Hi,

When I clic on link near to the user, I've got this message : No route found for "GET /topic2899.html&p=38848"

EDIT: In order not to have this problem :

In recenttopics.php, after

Code: Select all

$view_forum_url = append_sid("{$this->root_path}viewforum.$this->phpEx", 'f=' . $forum_id);
I put :

Code: Select all

$view_post_url = append_sid("{$this->root_path}viewtopic.$this->phpEx");
And I replace

Code: Select all

'U_LAST_POST'             => $view_topic_url . '&p=' . $row['topic_last_post_id'] . '#p' . $row['topic_last_post_id'],
by

Code: Select all

'U_LAST_POST'             => $view_post_url . '?p=' . $row['topic_last_post_id'] . '#p' . $row['topic_last_post_id'],

Hi,

you wrote earlier about showing the recent posts on the bottom of the page
Either that, or you just need to rename a template file. If other users want this, I will add the option.
Can you explain which template file I need to rename?

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it. Renamed index_body_markforums_before.html to index_body_forumlist_body_after.html in the folder /styles/all/template/events/ and now it shows on the bottom.
