You might be interested to know that I am proposing another extension to display on the forum index page a summary of the liked posts from this extension.

See Post of the Day extension and please add any comments about my new extension on that thread, not here.

Please note that my extension is not a replacement for Post Love, but an add-on to it, that requires the (unmodified) post-lovve to be installed.

You could submit this as PR to postlove ... it could be configurable from the new ACP panel.

I was going to add profile specific statistics in some future version.

OK, I did think about making this an enhancement to postlove, but it was easier to start with a hacked version of topfive (as it has a similar user interface).

I will look at merging it into postlove, but that won't be for a few weeks. In the meantime I will tinker with it as a standalone extension.

I know this is in BETA, but how stable is it at this point? Safe on a live board (I know not recommended)?

I use it on my live board ... not huge, but big enough.

I attempted to install this extension. It's not showing up in Disabled Extensions.
I have it in my ext/anavaro/postlove-master folder.

advertisements
