Just a quick thought, I haven't tested this; But could you just "render" the page to html and serve it as this ? That would greatly improve speed I think; As no queries need to be fetched at all then (no database, no php, ... )

Yes svennson, i'm on working with that feature, but currently I have no time for this project. I'll be back soon :)

Sorry to be a pain, but I don't think this extension qualify as "[RC]"

I tried to install it, and immediately the phpBB admin pages went blank.

In the php error log, I have these:

PHP Fatal error: Can't use function return value in write context in /var/www/html/test_forums/ext/o0johntam0o/archive/event/main_listener.php on line 123

I've seen there's a post about how to fix the issue, but still the extension should be written [dev] instead of [RC].

Still, I'm looking forward to this extension when it will be ready to test 8-)
