I just released a new version for phpBB 3.2.0 (it is a complete rewrite of the extension)
  • The vendors are not committed any-more (use composer to install the extension)
  • Updated to the Symfony's 2.8 version
  • Compatible phpBB ~3.2.0
  • The Symfony's webprofiler is now wrapped by the extension and not completely rewritten
  • A new Twig panel showing the twig profiler information

Hi nicofuma and thanks for the update, unfortunately though I didn't understand the use of it due to the fact I never used it and I am still waiting for the demo site to work again, in order to get the point. I understand it is an useful tool for coders but that's all atm. :|

Would you mind to spend at least a couple of words (school style) to let me better understand and see all the bells and whistles?

Thanks in advance.. I know it is (maybe) an idiot question but for sure your eventual answer will turn on the light for many of us we are "swimming in the dark". ;)

Joyeux Noël.

The best could be to use the sonata sandbox demo, the toolbar is enabled there:
  • clic on Launch your container.
  • when loaded, append app_dev.php to the url (http://ycgkmw.demo.sonata-project.org/app_dev.php per example)
  • The toolbar will be available at the bottom of the page
A few things to notice:
  • Not all blocks are available in phpBB (db/security/form per example but it can change in the future)
  • In phpBB it works on all pages (including xcp/viewforum etc...)
  • The toolbar is loaded with ajax and will record any request when enabled

add link to webprofiler addition.

*. added symfony global dump() function.
*. php dump(); and twig {% dump() %} functions shows in profiler.

https://e36.lv/agris/phpbb-ext-webprofiler-dump.zip

maybe nicofuma could marge this.
