Re: [DEV] Thanks for posts

Post by Swen » Sat Nov 05, 2016 10:23 am

I don't know why, but its working now with a thanks button! Now my question is:

Are there to rate a thread in another way? If i think all say thank then you will get every time 100%.

I don't undestand this system. Can somebody help me? Is there something missing more on my page for rating?
Regards Swen

hi rxu, we love this mod on our forum and are preparing to convert to 3.2.
We are wondering if you can extend your extension to the autogroup extension so we can set groups based on thanks given/recieved?

I guess that is possible in theory, but currently I don't have enough spare time to look into it deeper.
I'll try to find some though.

cool, yeah we were too looking into it, but it's kinda hard to understand the example from autogroup.

On the GitHub repository of Auto groups extension there a wiki that explains the process.

you could include fontawesesome (perhaps in 3.2.x) for stars and likes.

(in quick list)
thank list

Code: Select all

<i class="fa fa-thumbs-o-up" aria-hidden="true"></i>
Posts toplist

Code: Select all

<i class="fa fa-star-o" aria-hidden="true"></i>

Yes. It's been fixed in the development repository and the fix will be rolled out with the upcoming phpBB 3.1.11.
And no, I don't know how soon it's going to be released ;)
Hello,

Is it possible to install your extension into 3.10 version of phpBB? I want to switch my forum from 3.0.x to 3.1.10 but I need this extension too and I can not wait phpBB 3.11.

I tried early suggestions but without success.

Because that is neither the security nor the issue :)
You can get it if you read the discussion.

I need also some info about this. Sorry but I just cannot get into my head why it's held back. :? Even wrote a PM but never got a reply.

What I replied in the quote. 3.1.10 has a bug preventing some extensions from installing. if you have 3.1.10, you need to wait for 3.1.11.
