I just tried right now with the new repo and the same error appears.
Finally, fixed this annoying issue.

I'm sorry to tell you not for me. Again the same error with the last repository (2.0.5). :(

Again the same error
That's weird.
Anyway if you decide to update, you can backup the _thanks database table, uninstall and delete the old extension, then restore the table and install the new extension over it. That should work.

Not for me.
Finally I had no choice to uninstall the extension completely and install the new version from scratch.

I can see best posts and best authors, but what about "Top rated post from author?"

Phpbb is showing most active forum and topic, but who cares about activity... This extension can show us the best from user!

Where are the data saved at? For example: this user's thanks count is 275. Where is this number saved? In a table in database or in ext folder?
Thanks.

phpbb_thanks database table. But there's no any simple thanks count saving as a digit. it's being counted on the fly.

Thanks Rxu. I was wondering if it is possible to delete only certain member's thanks count. Is it possible?

Yes, you can, from the Profile view. There are two lists (given/received thanks) at the bottom and a button to clear them.
