Hey,

thanks for your work.

The extensions works fine on 3.2. for me - but just for administrators.
Other users can't see the thanks button at all - am I missing a permission or anything?

cheers

Hi Galixte de EzCom,

merci beaucoup!
Sadly i seem to be missing these persmission settings in my apc:

As said, the extension itself seems to be working - is there any way i can restore(reinstall?) the permission setting?

cheers

What is your style ? If it’s not prosilver, compare with prosilver if the button appears for registered users.

Na, I'm using another, but prosilver based style: for me as admin the button works, even with this style:

Image

Just my users can't thank anyboady... (all use the same style)

edit: did a check with my testuser - even using pro silver the thank button is mission for non administrators

Yes, you’re right if admins see this button there is no reason to check with an other style.

So, i think you have to check your permissions again, and see if the permissions from an other group don’t interact with the permissions of the registered users.

Especially for the permission named: Can thank for posts (the method to set it is indicated here: viewtopic.php?p=14223716#p14223716, from line “the first is for normal users, in ACP :”).

For all forums ! It’s the rule for all similar permissions.

Installed the extension from develop-3.2.x branch to my phpBB 3.2 board with the default English prosilver theme, but I don't see the like buttons for any post nor the "Can thank for posts" option in the Misc Permissions page. What gives?

Edit: Nevermind, reinstalled it and now it's working. :)

Hi,

same method like this: https://github.com/board3/Board3-Portal ... hpBB-3.1.x but the folders have to be named exactly as the informations provided in the composer.json file at the line 2.

All extensions always include those informations in composer.json file at the line 2.

I've been using this MOD on 3.0 and it was one of the most useful add-ons on my forum.

However, when I try to implement it to 3.2 I am able to successfully Activate it on "Manage Extensions" part of ACP but when I try and load my forum I get this error:

Return to the index page

@deejko, please put your error message between the BBCode CODE the next time (you can edit your post to do that).

Solution here: viewtopic.php?p=14664361#p14664361.

Also for the next time, copy the line from your error, like that : phpbb_thanks' doesn't exist [1146] in the search field named “Search this topic…”, available at the top of each topic, to find if a previous user had posted the solution.
