Ephemeraboy, currently I'm trying to figure out the cause of it. I guess this is pretty the same issue as described here viewtopic.php?p=14038246#p14038246
xplod wrote: Any user in the forum was able to see the quick moderation button, and therefore check the IP addresses of the authors, or mark threads as important, ...

This was caused by the "Can delete list of thanks" entry in the moderator's rights panel -> it was always set to yes, and I wasn't able to remove it ( either by selecting no nor never).
The problem is that the ext doesn't actually add the m_thanks moderator permission to the user roles during installation, but it ends up in this.

Btw, this is the example of why noone should install the development stage extensions on production forums.

It turned out this is phpBB migrations system core bug: https://tracker.phpbb.com/browse/PHPBB3-13779

Any news on when this will be released? A thanks on the forum is much needed. This is a very good thanks as I used to have it before on 3.0 versions.

Its said that this should not be used on a production board, so I'd also like to know if this is nearing release soon? I am helping out with a board who would love to have this feature (and it seems essential to them).

Currently I'm waiting for merging the fix to this bug https://tracker.phpbb.com/browse/PHPBB3-13779 which should affect the extension migrations for the next version. That's pretty important as the bug causes some unwanted secure-ish consequences.

Hello! How to solve the conflict problem with User Topic Count Topic extension?

It is doubling, tripling, quadrupling the Topics column
